Stays cooler longer, but doesn’t cut as well
I got this blade to use just trimming my own dog (standard poodle mutt). It does stay cooler longer than my all metal ultra edge blade, but it doesn’t cut as well. It has a bit more resistance to it. I don’t mind using it so that I can switch out blade when they get hot, but I do like the metal one better. If you only have one blade and need it to stay cool longer this one might be fine.

Ceramic on steel vs steel on steel is substantially cooler in temperature. Hoping this stays sharp for our wooly sheep of a dog.

Great clipper blade
This blade works wonderfully on my horses, even if they are a little dirty when I clip them. This blade doesn't make lines on their coats. Very satisfied
