Amazing kit! Everything you need to get started!
Wow! This kit is awesome! I tried it out for the first time today. As usual I only skim-read the instructions as I was impatient to get started and I went for quite an ambitious design for a first go - I was pretty sure I was going to mess it up! It ended up looking GREAT! The limo block is super soft and so easy to cut and the carving tool is really easy to use. The kit comes with everything you need to begin carving straight away (though you'll need to get some ink - I just used a black ink pad I had already), a block of soft Lino, a carving tool with 2 interchangeable blades, a sheet of tracing paper and an instructions pamphlet. I chose to handraw my design onto a sheet of paper, trace it and then transfer it to the Lino but you can use images printed off the Internet or just draw your design straight onto the Lino if you're confident. Then you just get to carving! Any of the Lino you 'take away' will be white space in the finished print and any Lino left will be the inked space. Can't wait to have a go at my second design!*update* tried a second design and I love this stuff more and more!!! So pleased with how it turned out for only my second go! I've attached some photos - the black is attempt number 1 and the blue is attempt number 2.

Great Little Kit
I brought this to make a stamp design for the back of my home-made cards and it's perfect. It's a great little kit for making a quick stamp and really helpful if you've never made one before! I'll go through the bits individually:1. The wooden handle - it's perfect for a quick kit, nothing fancy, will allow good control of the blade though it might be a little small for men.2. The blades - you get two sizes! Really helpful for small stamps when you can do the finer details with the smaller blade and then take out bigger areas quicker with the larger one.3. The pink 'Speedy Stamp Block' - I only wanted to make a small stamp but that's not even a quarter of the block! I'm going to be making many more stamps that's for sure! My only reservation is that I'm not sure what it's made of! It's like rubber, soft and easy to cut - so it's perfect - but keep it away from kids because if they eat it.. well you might have to contact Speedy-craft themselves to find out what's in it.4. Instructions and Tips - I really like this! It's a great introduction and it highlights safety points about the sharpness of the blades and tips about cutting so it's really good for people that haven't made a stamp with this type of tool before.5. Tracing paper! - I love this little addition! I have plenty of tracing paper but oh my when that little sheet of tracing paper came out the box I was deeply warmed! It's a lovely little 'here just in case you don't have a piece you can still start a stamp right now'.The one thing I think it's missing is a block of wood to mount the stamp on so it's more of a permanent stamp but then it's not a necessary piece per say.

Great beginner kit!
A grest starter kit for beginners looking to get into printing or stamp making. There was even some designs in the instructions to trace so I was able to get started straight away. All you need that isn’t included is ink. The rubber block is quite small but still enough to practice and make a few different stamps, and feels very good quality. The tool is really easy to use, however the handle is unfinished wood and it would have been nice if it was varnished to avoid getting stains on it from the ink. It’s a little bit expensive for what you get but I would still definitely recommend it. Fun little hobby to try :)

This kit is fantastic as a first time stamp maker
This kit is fantastic as a first time stamp maker, it has everything you need and is so easy to use! the little cutting blades are great, plenty to start with but for more detailed work you will definitely need to think of buying a few more types, also i found my craft knife to be a big help. I used this product to make four little animal stamps for wedding cards and it did the job perfectly.
