Thought my SB6121 Surfboard modem was done for, decided to try out this power replacement. Works perfectly, Back up and running!

Two day delivery was nice. Part worked as promised.

I lost the power cord to one of my Seagate FreeAgent external hard drives a while ago. Luckily I had two - the other belongs to my little brother - so we just shared the power cord. But that got annoying at times, as we couldn't run both of our hard drives at the same time. I searched the web for an adapter that matched the specs of my FreeAgent's adapter, but couldn't find anything that I was positive was EXACTLY the same (in terms of the size of the plug that goes into the hard drive itself). Then I searched Amazon for the exact model number of the adapter, and lo and behold - I find this, the same exact adapter that shipped with the hard drive. Only difference is this one is black, the original one was white. But I'm really glad it's black, because the hard drive is black as well - it was silly of Seagate to ship a white power cord with a black hard drive.

I bought this to replace a dead adapter for my Seagate FreeAgent network HDD. The description mentions the FreeAgent but does not fit the model I have. The adapter model number matched but when it arrived the plug did not fit the pin in the HDD base. This will be returned.If I knew how to splice wires it could have possible worked with the original plug.Otherwise the adapter seems of good quality.

The old power supply cord for my external hard drive got pinched. There were so many cheaper choices, however, my data on the hard drive is important and I wanted to insure I got the correct replacement. This is the same brand and measurements as the factory one. It worked perfect and also provides a sense of security for my data.
