Mudville Glow Stick Float

Not sure why these are advertised towards catfishermen. They can barely keep a small piece (1oz) of cutbait afloat. The included bobber stops are a joke, the plastic tube doesnt have a cutout so you have to remove it BEFORE adding anything or closing the line. The foam "cork" on the end protrudes too much and catches water when retrieved causing stick light to be lost and retrievel of foam necessary. After trimming the foam to make it more aerodynamic it didnt fall out anymore. I also ended up cutting the lead weight in the bobber out to gain more float capacity for my bait. This helped greatly, but after all that work my pvc pipe and swim noodle bobbers work much better

The lids don't stay on after about 4 casts. Glow sticks are constantly coming out because when they hit the water, the water catches the lids and pull them off.

Would give it a 5 if the yellow foam top wouldn’t come off during casting and causing the float stick to fly out float needs a better cap for glow stick chamber. Casts great but needs improvement

I used a sinker stop to keep the top from opening. If conditions are calm they are great. If its a little choppy or if boat wakes the top may slide up and water can get in.

Open package and paint came off when I took it out. Have not put in water yet but already see I may have a problem with the top coming off not very tight.

Great bobber

Came in good time and packaged well. Good quality and would buy again. Love this for night fishing. We used to tape light sticks onto other bobbers but being able to just insert a light stick in top of these works great.
