OMG its so tiny
I got the 500.1 from amazon but I couldn't find the 500.2 on amazon so I bought it elsewhere. I'm going to use it to power an Alpine Type SWR 8" which seems to call for 350-500 RMS. These amps (except for the 5 channel=40A) are all fuse rated at 30A. This should be a perfect match for the Alpine (4ohm + 4ohm) subwoofer. The 500.2 I used to power up 4 - 4" DS18 loudspeakers. Hopefully, I'll end up with decent hitting music that doesn't 'dim' my lights in my car. This is a stealth install so these amps will be mounted behind my dash and the sub is going inside the spare tire well. Cheers. I will update the review once installed...Edit: This (500.1) bumps that Alpine SWR-8D4 all out. I don't think it'll blow the sub since it's a top brand/model but It's very powerful for its size. Considering the sub is rated on the sheet for 350-500 RMS. I have not installed the 500.2 yet. I will also take a current draw reading and update againUpdate: I ended up selling the car with the amp but I’m going to buy another because it performed so well (even in a closed non vented location). I did check current draw: 22-26.5A. Cheers. Happy music happy people

Fantastic unit- people are stupid.
Just to clarify after reading a couple of negative reviews. Not only have those come from people who have attempted to run an absolutely horrid quality subwoofer off of this amp (which was not even set up for the proper resistance for quality) but also another review states that nowhere stated it was for low end sound only??? Not only does the item specify CLASS D MONOBLOCK. It SPECIFICALLY states that there's an entirely different amplifier thats needed for full range speaker use. The ramblings of people who have done zero research on the subject matter before purchasing are not only daft but the only ones responsible for the end results.I personally have built and run sound systems that consistitently produce 140DB + when tested properly. No other amplifier brand in a reasonable price range has stood up nearly as well as thease have. I run a 1500 Brutus in my daily (which has held 143 DB steadily during mutiple tests over the last 3 years) and am using this marine setup in an offroad truck which works fantastic as there are two proven brand name subwoofers that are 600watts @4 ohms each. Wired in series gives the appropriate 2 ohm range this amplifier is designed for. And it does come with the gain controll & substantial wiring for it.Do your homework people. This is a purpose built amplifier.

Great power
This came smaller than I thought. But the power it puts out was just like a larger amp. Fits perfect in my bags on my Road King. And doesn’t take up hardly any room in the saddle bag. The connections were easy and the adjustment dials were easy. I will definitely get this amp again!Aloha

So worth the $
I didn’t want to pay $500 for the mtx incase it got wet & ruined. Well this thing is awsome. Fits perfect in the dash & handles my MTX glove box subwoofer. I highly recommend this. Before buying I asked around about this name since I had never heard of it, glad I did. Everyone said it was good & they were right. Love the more/less bass knob….👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

Small package with a huge output
It’s small and fit perfectly where I wanted. I’m powering four 6x9 wired to 2ohms and it handles it like a champ
