Love it - great product, easy to use with precise timing
I've been using this product for nearly 9 months now, about once every 8 weeks, and have had NO issues with it, even though I have 3 grades of hair on my head - 3c on top, 4b on the side from right temple to behind the right ear, and 4a every where else). My hair is long - below my shoulders, soft, and extremely porous (goes straight when wet). I'd worn it relaxed for nearly 30 years, and have always had to fight to get my hairdresser to (1) section it off, use a mild relaxer, and time each section separately. The last time I had it straightened, the stylist took it all off and that's why I stopped having it relaxed 10 years ago. I don't have time to work with it, so once I'd grown it back out after the last de-hairing, I started trying what were called tried lots of 'natural hair relaxers' with variable results. When my last product went off the market (Fresh Look BodiPhier), I tried this one on the recommendation of a stylist in LA, and I LOVE it.My hair is now very easy to handle, has even curl type/texture after processing, and for the first time in my life, I don't have bald spots or breakage after processing. In the 9 months I've used it, my hair's grown and has no breakage. The key is in how you prep for processing, how you section it off, and timing, timing, timing.Do patch tests on several spots if you aren't sure, be sure to use a watch and a piece of paper to track timing for each section. Doing that beforehand will make your experience much less traumatic. If this sounds like too much trouble for you, then perhaps this product isn't for you, or you should have your stylist apply it.This is not a kit: neutralizer and conditioner don't come with, but the directions indicate it should be used with Linange Neutralizing Conditioner ONLY and Hair Mask (conditioner). I purchased those separately, as well, for after-processing, and yay! - I've found a system that works for me: my hair comes out curly (texture between 3B and 3C) all over.I learned this trick from a hairdresser who also did pageant contestants (I do my own texturizing now): he washed me 3 days before using the texturizer, with a heavily moisturizing conditioner. On the day of application he applied shea butter moisturizer on the previously texturized hair to the new growth, divided the hair into 6 sections following the texture changes on my head, and timed religiously. It took a while to finish, but my hair looked and felt fabulous after. The 3c area timed at 7 minutes, and the 4a and 4B sections at 10 and 12 minutes, respectively. I know other people have mentioned issues with over-relaxing, doing it themselves, but I found that if I don't do my whole head all at one time, I have no issues. I do half at a time when I do it myself. It's possible to stagger this across two or more weekends, by apply a heavy shea butter moisturizer heavily on the side you aren't working on.

A Nice Option
I have not had a good track record with relaxers or texturizers. Most were left on too long. My hair is kinky but "soft". It would usually break off after about 6 months. I take the condition of my hair seriously. So when this continued to happen I swore off chemicals and went natural. I would use flat irons from time to time. My hair was bouncy and healthy. Then I moved to a sub tropical environment. My hair rebelled and I could not deal with it. I researched products on the internet and came up with this one. When I mentioned it to my stylist, I was happy she had also heard good things about it.At first, I absolutely loved it. I went from a thick mass of tangled kinks to shiny manageable waves. However, I soon learned that texturizers have one big drawback. They are great on the initial application but it is hard to duplicate that first application. Each "touch up" can overlap on already texturized hair resulting in multiple hair textures on your head. This can cause matting and problems with tangling. However, this was not a major issue for me. I extended the time between touch ups a bit. I would re apply every 5 or 6 months at the start of the humid season. This product worked well for me. Now after using the product for over eighteen months, I think I will grow it out. Not because of the product but because I am looking to change to a shorter style.Things to keep in mind: This is still a chemical treatment--don't let the Shea Butter fool you. It is best to time the treatment (with a timer) so you can know exactly how long to leave it on to achieve your desired texture. I would also highly recommend having a stylist apply this product for you. Just be sure to have that serious conversation beforehand about the length of time to leave the product on. Yes, it can burn just like a relaxer and the smell is a bit strong. Nothing, however, that will shock the average person who has had a chemical treatment before. The neutralizing conditioner is wonderful, thick and creamy and ultra moisturizing I would highly recommend you use the Linanges brand. My hair at it's longest was middle of my back and extremely thick. Just to set it would take about an hour. Post- Texturizer I could set it in 20 minutes. This product was a nice option for me because it shortened my styling time, provided manageable hair without damaging my hair and it was easy for my stylist to apply.

Love it, it's amazing!
This is the best texturizer I have ever had. My hair is so thick and hard to manage, plus I'm tender headed. It would take an entire day for my mom to do my natural hair when I was younger. After sleepaway camp and swimming, when I cane home, my mom bought my first texturizer or relaxer. Over the years I've gone between chemical and natural. Nothing truly softened and straightened my hair, until now. This seems like a strong relaxer eventhough it's a texturizer. This is amazing! I've only used it once on my natural hair of over a year. This is so far lasting longer than any chemical straightener I've ever used. If my hair stays in my head and continues to grow, I will never use a different texturizer for the rest of my life. I love this.Update: 8/11/20I'm still using this texturizer. I do it myself instead of taking it to the salon and my hair is healthy and growing better than when I did go to the salon weekly or biweekly. The only thing I haven't conquered yet is the roller set. My hair is getting thicker and longer, so hopefully I'll get there soon. Although my braids are past my shoulders now.I do use several hair lotions, essential oils and conditioners, but I did that before and it didn't maintain it's strength and would fall out.Now my hair feels healthier. Not exposing it to the elements and having to do anything to it as often due to COVID, my hair has had a chance to heal. I never thought a chemical would actually help my hair. Since my hair is thick and tightly coiled, coming would rip hair out. With my hair softened and the longevity of the treatment is amazing. I can go a couple of months before needing to do it. Anyone that knows my hair, knows a battle.I bought the giant container after buying the individual a few times.

Great product for mix of 4b/4a/3c curls!!!
I really love it and I am writing this review i hopes that it helps another sista with her like mine. I am a mix of 4b/4a/3c. Also, I only wear wash & gos and need something to better manage my shoulder length hair. I brought this product to smooth, loosen and elongate my natural hair. The back is all 4b. I left the product on for 25 minutes and got what I consider PERFECT CURLS! The middle is 4a, left on for 20 minutes and got great curls too. The front and sides are 3c, left on for 7 minutes and the curls are now a little looser than what I hoped for, but still looks textured. I think 5 minutes would have been best for the 3c areas. But that's my fault, The product is great though! My hair still looks very natural even though its texturized. The curls are really shiny, springy and beautiful and they hang longer than my natural hair. #Winning

Mixed Felling
This texturizer is very strong for a texturizer. My hair is 4b/c coily on the majority of my head with 4a curls near the nape area and hairline. I left it on for only 5 minutes and it elongated the coils quickly however the 4a literally lost its curl pattern and is more wavy to straight than coily now. I DID NOT smooth- NO WAY! My hair would have been too straight had I done that. My hair was dirty with a week build up of oil and even with that 5 minutes was sufficient. I also did my hair in very small sections, if I did my entire head or even half-my hair would be over processed and too straight. I do like that it does not leave a relaxer scent and it works quickly if you know how to use it. So, my rating is 3 stars because it's too strong for a texturizer and should be used very carefully and try it on a small section before you do your whole head.
