EQUA Smart Water Bottle - 23 oz - Bluetooth Water Intake Tracking with Light Up Reminders - Stainless Steel Double Wall Insulated

I just recieved my bottle and was really excited to begin tracking my water in-take as I am extremely dehydrated often. But i noticed an issue, the bottle just uses movement to determine the amount of water you consume and does not use actual tracking of the water which is fine if it were accurate.The bottle is around 23oz and I filled up the bottle once and drank from it and finished the bottle over the course of an hour or two. This is the only water I have had and I have my phone open as I drink to watch it update. It currently says I drank 45oz when I have only had this bottle and I have only filled it up once, It never has been tilted to think i was drinking when i was not and it was filled perfectly to the top. So this system just guesses and makes you beleive that its tracking when it is not which is a law suit waiting to happen when they can be affecting peoples health!I want my money back!

I was hesitant about buying this product due to negative reviews. I am glad that I took a chance on this. First off, it’s a beautiful water bottle, which oddly makes me feel good when using it. I haven’t had any issues with the clasp breaking like others, but I put it on correctly per instructions. It pairs pretty easily to app. The blinking light is bright enough to remind to drink. I’ve tried those other hydrate apps, but this works better for me. I tend to put my phone on DND when concentrating on work, but the light reminder is working great! My lipstick easily whips off, which is a huge plus in my book. It keeps my water nice and cool. I don’t know if the the ounces of water being calculated is 100% accurate, but it makes sense. I fill it up almost 5x a day, which would be 115 ounces. It shows a little less than that, which is because I don’t fill my bottle to top. I haven’t actually measured what I put in the bottle vs what it’s showing on the app. And honestly, I never did that for other bottles, and I just logged whatever the bottle said it was. For someone who was dehydrated and had issues getting enough water in, this bottle has been a game changer for me. I can tell that I’m getting appropriate amount of water because of how my body is behaving (clearer skin, nicer skin around the nails, a lot of bathroom breaks). I could of saved money just buying this one instead of all the other water bottles. I plan on buying one for my niece as a Christmas present because she loved my bottle so much! The bottle itself is beautifully designed and very nice to look at. It’s also great that it’s metal and not plastic. The fact that the base in rechargeable was a big selling point to me too because replacing those button batteries quite often in previous smart water bottles got old pretty quickly.That’s about the best that I can say for this bottle.It monitors how much water you’ve had but doesn’t give good reminders to drink.I bought this to replace the two Hidrate Spark bottles that I have, because the Equa one is metal and not plastic like the Hidrate Spark ones.Unlike the Hidrate ones, the Equa app does not remind you to drink with a notification on your phone - this would be so beneficial as I don’t have my bottle attached to my hip or in my pocket, meaning that seeing a notification on my phone would remind me to drink far more than missing the bottle glowing when I’m in another room.The Equa app also doesn’t log your intake very well, again because there’s no notification on my phone, coupled with having a busy lifestyle, I forget to open the app throughout the day. It can be a week before I remember to open the app and by that point it isn’t able to input your intake for that entire time and will only log what you’ve had that day... unlike the Hidrate app.Perhaps if I hadn’t tried Hidrate then this Equa bottle would be more of a hit with me, however now that Hidrate are launching a rechargeable metal bottle, I have already pre-ordered one and will be (happily) going back to Hidrate; I was way more hydrated using their bottle, often exceeding my daily target and with the Equa bottle it is only once in a blue moon that I will even meet my target of water intake.

Bought it for my girlfriend and she loves it! Design is beautiful, especially the marble top and rose gold details.So far it has proven to be leak-proof and it does keep cold or hot drinks for several hours which fits her needs perfectly since she's quite often on-the-go.No complaints on the technical side also. Connecting to the app went smoothly and the bottle sends glow reminders and tracks the water consumption without problems.Overall quality seems great so far, maybe the metal ring could be a little stronger.Oh, and she drinks water more frequently now and feeling great 🙂

This bottle seems to have it all, sleek look, stainless steel, hot and cold liquids, keeps temps great and helps you stay hydrated! Except this product is not meant to last after 6 weeks the rose gold started to flake off. Not so bad, I never take it outside b/c I’m self-isolating inside. By November the sensor stopped pairing and seems not to work with the Big Sure update. I spent a month trying to get help from Equa customer service and they only kept sending me reset instructions despite me telling them none of it worked. They would give me a replacement, rebate, coupon or money back and told me I had to teach out to Amazon if I wasn’t satisfied — despite I bought it through the Equa Amazon store... nice while it lasted but CS and lack of longevity put me off this brand.

Love this bottle!!! I have had 2 different smart bottle and out of all them I like this one the best!!! Keep everything cold, battery life is amazing I’m going on a week!! The bottle does not leak and best of all this has been the lowest priced bottle I have owned. Well done!!!

Water bottle is great at keeping water cold, but the tracking is not very accurate. Does not connect with Fitbit

The inside of mine is all rusty after 3 months. It’s gross. Just keeps coming back! :(
