Last swimming season I could tell the original foam rings were getting worn, but the dolphin was still climbing the walls so I waited until this year when it began to struggle at the waterline. After I installed these (super easy by the way - just grab a straight screwdriver if you have a newish unit) not only does it climb with ease again, but it also rarely gets stuck on the drain now! Last season even when it was climbing the walls alright, it would get stuck on our main drains all the time - so frustrating! But with the new rings it's a rare event now when it does get stuck. That'll now be my trigger for buying replacement rings next time.

Did not know that I needed to replace these robot rings. After replacing the rings my robot now climbs the pool walls again. It works like it is new again. Easy to replace, just cut old rings off and slide new ones over the end of rollers and snap back in.

After ordering two sets of cheaper replacement drive wheels, which varied in size, which caused the Dolphin to skew to one side, I finally decided to buy genuine Maytronics drive wheels. What a difference; they’re perfectly symmetrical and the Dolphin is like new. Highly recommend.

Paid extra for the OEM. Didn't want to trust aftermarket on the surface of my liner pool. These are easy to install and fit perfectly. Pool vac is climbing the walls like when it was new.

Used after market part but the sizes were off preventing the brushes from properly scrubbing. This genuine part fixed the problem and the robot works properly.

These worked great for a while. Then one just broke right off. But I feel like it was more that the Dolphin was old and on its last leg, but I don't know for sure. The package came and they were moist just like they were supposed to be and they were easy to install and for the cost, they were ok. That's the only reason I did four stars instead of five.

I purchased the climbing rings after my nautilus stopped climbing the pool walls. When I bought these, there was a long lead time so I ordered another brand. As my luck would have it, they arrived on the same day. I was able to compare the OEM with a knock off. Believe me. Save your time. Spend the money and buy the OEM climbing rings.
