Q: Can you tell me the approximate volume of the 1# bag? Looking to stuff a floor pillow.

The bag it came in is approximately 16 inches long and has a circumference of 20 inches. My guess, it would fill a small throw pillow, 3 gallons. I use it for cat toys.

Q: If I use this to stuff a small pillow, will I be able to wash the pillow without issues?

I stuffed toys for my granddaughter. It looked clean and I did not wash it before stuff it. It is washable and you can stuff a pillow and wash it like other pillows.The problem is that after wash and dry it may not fluff to the extend you want it. For pillows, I personally don't recommend wash it.

Q: I am making some knitted toys. I'm not sure how many bags to order. I am now making 3 lambs - one 11", one 8" and one 6. Will one bag suffice?

Hi Barbara, thanks for your inquiry! The Raw Cotton Fiber is a great stuffing option for your cloth toys! We recommend using 2-3 lbs. of Raw Cotton Fiber to fill a standard bed pillow - I think you would be okay with a single Lb. of the Raw Cotton Fiber, but you may want to order 2 lbs. just to be on the safe side. The more densely you fill the stuffed toys, the more fiber you'll use up. And any leftovers can always be utilized in another small project. I hope this is helpful! Q: I bought 80cm x 80cm floor cushions how many pounds would fill 4 please

To fill one like the firmness of a throw pillow you would need a little over 6 pounds. To fill all 4 you would need 25 pounds.
