HFS (R) 4 pc Full-Ball Small Bore Hole Precision Gage Gauge Set

Fairly easy to use, I wish they were longer, to fpgo in deeper into what you are measuring.

Work well in my home shop. Yep they are cheap China tools and had a very gritty feel. I Unscrewed the stem, washed the two pieces with kerosene and used a little machine tool oil. Only took 20 minutes and now my $23 gauges feel as smooth as the $150 name brand used where I work.PS. Watch out for price because amazon vendors are all over the place with price. Some vendors had them as high as $70 + $4.50 freight (all were shown in the identical blue package with white lettering)

As expected would be needed, I took these apart and lightly touched up threads (gently smoothed/polished) then lubed threads and easy to access moving parts. Repeatable measurements after that, just have to be very careful. Yes, there are more accurate, easier to operate options, but these will do the job and for the price they can't be beat!

For a cheaper version, these get the job done. Just a little sloppy after using a few times, but they are accurately sized and that’s the important thing.

Definitely can tell the difference between the cheap set (this one) and the legit set my other coworkers have. But it does its job when I need them and that is all it matters.

It did the job, was priced low so my expectations were not high. It did work so I'd say money well spent. Don't have any experience with a high priced set so can't judge quality. They did work. Used smallest to measure ID on valve guides on Toyota V-6 3.3 motor.Would buy again if I lose them !

I gave a 3 star "meh" rating because, although these will work, they arrived severely pitted on one side, and the adjustment is quite course (as in the adjustment changes it too quickly).

Work well after they are taken apart and cleaned.There is some grittiness on the smallest gauge .Looks like the machining on the tip of the gauge is rough
