Perfect in the studio
Looks and works great. Smooth quiet and not too heavy. Good value, good size for the studio, would purchase again.

Smooth turning
I use this for ceramics work. It turns smoothly, doesn't 'catch'. Might be useful for cake decorating.

I love how it glides so smoothly when I spin it.
The media could not be loaded. I’ve had this since July 2021 and It still glides very smoothly which is what I really like about it. Overall I give it a five because it’s quality is still outstanding since the time I bought it.

Never spun smoothly
I bought this back in December of 2023 and from day one it would abruptly stop during rotation; I could never get a whole spin without it catching. Pretty frustrating when I'm working on my ceramics and am trying to decorate a piece.I asked my husband to see if he could fix it - assuming it was just a bad bearing or something.Very simply constructed, the wood anchoring bolt was glued but it stripped out when trying to take the stand apart. Womp womp. But, I'll use the little cardboard circles as ware boards in my studio, so not a total loss. But I wish I had put the ~$25 towards a banding wheel that works for what I need.

Doesn’t last
I loved it until I washed it by hand once. It got stuck and no longer rotates.
