Not great for sex
Got this bed in and LOVED IT. Super cute and modern. Pretty easy to assemble. Did see an issue with the wooden slates but figured the mattress would hold it in place. It worked well for a few days but then I had my gentlemen caller over and things got a little heavy and next thing we know, the bed is slanted like the Titanic. The frame itself had bent outwards on both sides, the wooden slates fell off the sides, and the metal bar holding them had completely snapped. The legs on the metal bar were not welded correctly. This bed is cheaply made. If you get it, I wouldn’t jump on it, have sex on it, or even sleep on it.

Cheaply made.
Spent $200 on a bed that broke only a week of having it. Metal bar in middle that is supposed to support the slats bent two days after sleeping in it. The support on the sides for the slats doesn’t hold them good it’s too short. Literally fell through my side of the bed in the morning. Metal is super cheap and flimsy. And the bed was wobbly to begin with.

Nay for me
It took longer then it should to put this together. The instructions was most photos then actually telling you a to B. After finally getting it done it still wobbles, also the wood was Warped and started to Bold out and in. Perhaps you'll have better luck at it.

Great Value
When I initially received this bed I was a little sceptical because initially the parts seemed rather lightweight and flimsy. However, once correctly assembled the bed frame is quite sturdy and seems to be a design that really is "a sum of its parts." We have been sleeping on our Cal King/King version for a month, using a fairly hefty 14" memory foam mattress, and the mattress coupled with our equally hefty combined 550 lbs of body weight has not appeared to cause the frame any distress. We are an older couple, so I don't know if a younger more "sporting" couple would find the frames weaknesses, but for us so far it has worked very well. The only advice on assembling the frame would be to leave the headboard crossmember off the headboard until after you attach the side rails, as the crossmember screws obscure the brackets that need to snug down on the bolts, so you have to remove the crossmember anyway, so don't bother fitting it in the first step.

It's nice enough looking, but it's not great. Not that compatible with their bases.
As upholstered beds go, this one is cheap, and it is budget in appearance. It looks nice enough, but it's not going to give anyone the impresison of luxury by any means. I bought it as a surround for a Lucid adjustable base, and while it is compatible in that the adjustable bases will "sit inside" this bed just fine, it's truly just a half-build bed sitting loose around the outside of the bases. The bed doesn't attach in any way to the bases, and it doesn't havthe slats, and thus no cross--bracing of any kind to give the bed rigidity or heft...to it's basically just a headboard, a footboard, and 2 sideboards flapping in the breeze. Bump the corner with your foot, and the whole bed moves akimbo. Also, the ledge inside the bed frame that the slats attach to is just raw white wood, so it's highly visible. You have the adjustable bed base, which is nice gray fabric, then a gap, then a brigt strip of pine sticking out of the next piece of gray fabrice covered wood. The gap is unsightly, and the unfinished, bright piece of wood is even moreso. I'm going to look into covering it with black fabric tape or just painting it or something, and try to make some brackets so the bed and the adjustable base are in some way tied to one another and will stabilize each other. Right now, it's just like 2 separate pieces of furniture you try to keep lined up, even though one of them is way too light to stay put when it gets bumped. As the manufacturer of both pieces, it seems to me Lucid should be making them more compatible with each other. Maybe they can come up with some brackets or something.

Adds Class to the bedroom!
My husband and I have been looking for just the right twin size bed frame to put in our quest room. We wanted it simple but attractive. This Lucid Upholstered Bed with a Diamond Tuffed Headboard met these requirements perfectly. I am always hesitant to order something that we need to put together but was delighted when we opened the delivery box and there were easy to read instructions and all of the small parts were securely sealed in a package. It went together quickly and the finished product was classy. It was strong and sturdy and when the mattress was added and the bedding it added a “Welcoming Feeling” in our guest room. We are thinking seriously of purchasing a Queen size to use in another bedroom. There are several colors to choose from for the Headboard which makes it nice to have a variation in different rooms.

Twin XL Flimsy
The instructions referenced parts that were not included and did not mention that they were optional. Once assembled, the structure was flimsy and cheap feeling.
