I got these to use on my light-haired chihuahua for a recent party. They are definitely fun and easy enough to put on, but they came off on my clothes when my dog was on my lap. Not sure if they'll come out of my t-shirt since they appear to be oil based. They were easy enough to get out with a damp washcloth and a bit of puppy shampoo, but I ended up giving him a bath the next day just because there was still some oil residue in his fur. I had no problem getting the rest of it out with a simply washing. Overall, they're fun and pretty easy to use, but be aware that the colors can rub off. My dog didn't mind me using these on him -- I'm guessing it just kind of felt like I was petting him. I like these more than the spray-on colors because I didn't want him inhaling the fumes and I thought these would be cleaner.Oh, and while they do look good, they don't look anything like the Photoshopped images the company uses for these. Those are so unbelievably fake looking. I wish they would just use some actual images because these give people unrealistic expectations for how strong and precise these are. The red mohawk image especially -- come on. If you look at some of the other reviewer's photos, you'll get a better idea of what they really look like.

Great product! Easy to apply and the colors do not rub off or fade easily once applied to the hair. It's similar to a crayon in texture and application. However, I was really disappointed in the small amount of color on each pen! I bought these to use the black to cover up some of my Great Dane's grey hair(he's getting old) on his muzzle for a Christmas photo and it definitely did the job, but I had to use the ENTIRE crayon just for his muzzle and did not have enough left over for around his eyes. Not really worth the money for a single use like that, but if you're looking to make your pet festive for an event, these are wonderful especially if you have a smaller dog.

They are easy to use and vibrant. It's like rubbing with a soft crayon or as one reviewer put it, like lipstick. I made spots like an Easter egg and it worked great. Don't recommend for large coverage. I removed "most" of it with warm water, and I would expect that a full shampoo would get even more of it out. Well worth the price and fun to use.

Easy to use - have a tan boxer mix and gave him some black spots to turn him into Scooby Doo for Halloween. Had to reapply a second time during the day as it wore off a bit, but was surprised how well the black covered his tan fur. He did try to lick it a bit, but I have a licker/will eat anything kind of dog. I would recommend constant supervision if you plan to use. It washed off really easy with water same day, definitely stained my tub gray for a day or two, but eventually came out.

They take for ever to come off white dogs. Even with soap and warm water, it will be there for a long time. One dog had a black spot for 2 months and 5 baths.

These are great! They don't last long but that was expected. Stays on for about a day. If you get some sort of setting spray it may last another day. Easy to use, like a crayon

My dogs won't stay still for this, but the colors are bold and true and it lasts about a week.

Takes a little effort to apply, and rubs off a little. However it washes out pretty easy.
