You get what you pay for
I threw more of these away than I had a chance to use because I had to keep rewiring, which was a waste of my time. The rocker switches are very delicate and easily fall out pf the body of the switches plastic seating, which then causes the rocker brass spring to fall out and no longer work. Don't waste your money on this product. Time to go back to the other Amazon item I had been using successfully for years. Not worth the low cost. You will be disappointed.

Easy to use, some glitches
Great switches. My daughters love the simple lamps I made for them with a cord, these switches, and some fixtures. Today my 7 year old daughter said, "I love this button. It's way better than the rolly switch." I think she's referring to her old lamp with a knob at the back she had to twist. My 2 year old loves turning on her sister's light now.The only drawback that I saw was that if you switch it on and off quickly it gives the switch problems and doesn't work properly until you switch it on and off a few times. Other than that I would say these switches are fantastic. I would definitely purchase them again if I need to. Right now I'm trying to think of other things that would be great to add a switch to.

Just because it has a patent number on it doesn't mean it's any good!
As some other reviews mentioned, the wire terminals are impossible to crimp & very likely to cause a bad connection. Not good with 120 volts! I thought that they just didn't understand how to make the connections until I tried it.

I don't like the idea of using a crimp to connect 120v
It should have come with wiring instructions, but did not. I don't like the idea of using a crimp to connect 120v, especially if you can't use a proper crimping tool. I decided to solder also, just to insure a good connection, but that may be difficult for people not experienced at soldering to be able to do without melting the plastic.

These are terrible, be prepared to cut and strip wire to make it work.
These are terrible, be prepared to cut and strip wire to make it work. Soldering is not an option the plastic will melt.

A little tricky crimping the wire into the wire crimp ...
A little tricky crimping the wire into the wire crimp connections. Other than that the inline switchs work as one would expect.
