Average quality continuity tester
The continuity tester operates on 2 AAA batteries that are easily available. It is better than continuity testers with button cells.This plastic body tester has a LED with a red glow with average brightness. The plastic quality is average.The LED housing should have been transparent like glass. Instead, it is milky white and thus the LED glow is low.The probe (other than the battery fitted one) is very tiny and pretty useless.The probe needles seem a bit short for reaching out to PCB/breadboard components. Conductivity of probe needles is average.The probe wire is very short and wire quality is poor. This thin wire is delicately soldered to both the probe ends and are prone to getting detached.The product was delivered with the plastic body of the tiny probe cracked, though the blister packing was fine.The probe was replaced on request though I lost a fortnight in the process.The tester is not rugged.Overall, a very average product.
