Versatile Knitting Machine
I have the SK280 and the ribber that goes with. The other reviews seem to pertain to the price only so my review will be based solely upon the basis of the operation of the machine.With the 24 punch card you can do a variety of patterns including Fair Isle and Intarsia. If you get plain punch cards and the punch machine you can create your own designs as well. There is also a lace carriage available which allows for beautiful lace knitting. A garter bar made for standard machines will enable you to make garter stitch garments too. Practice a lot and make many swatches before starting your first garment so you'll get familiar with the machine. There are endless possibilities of what you can knit on this model using sportweight, dk and laceweight yarns.

Don't buy this machine for this way too high price..!!
No way can this knitting machine be worth $2,210..It is not even electronic. Even then it would cost about $600. I bought this same machine new for $450. What a scam!!

Fantastic machine, but much better prices elsewhere
This top-of-the-line machine generally goes for $1500-$1800. Fantastic machine, but much better prices elsewhere, actually just about everywhere else.

I'm glad I read the reviews before purchasing. Found this same machine at allbrands.com for only $1195. HUGE price difference - what a scam.

Maquina de tejer con sistema de tarjetas
Es una maquina perfecta para trabajos en casa o microemprendimiento. Tal y como viene hace todo tipo de puntos, excepto calados. Para eso es necesario el carro de lacados LC2. Sin embargo, no trae mas que dos minúsculas pesas, harían falta las pesas largas.La primera que recibí venia golpeada y no corría bien el carro. Pero el sistema de devolución de Amazónica es genial y al día siguiente recogieron en mi cada la maquina dañada y 24h después tenia otra, esta vez perfecta.
