I use oregano oil frequently and these seemed to work well. Oregano oil can be hard on the stomach so take with food. It works.

Must have always if you don’t have a garden.

I had been sick for a month with a cold/flu/ear infection/strep hell concoction. I went through a round of antibiotics for strep and was doing better. When the pills were gone, I was immediately feeling like mashed dog poop again, starting with the worst sore throat of my life. After a week of that, I ended up going to the ER because it was so bad, the pain was up in my ear. I was tested for strep again. Nope, a virus that had to be waited out. My thought was, "Are you freaking kidding me?" So, I was gargling with salt water, using lozenges with benzocaine, and downing ridiculous amounts of Tylenol and ibuprofen to keep the pain tolerable (not gone by any stretch of the imagination), and this led to fun stomach troubles. So, another week goes by, drained of energy, still feeling like I was swallowing around a golf ball, and constantly eating to keep my stomach settled, I remembered meeting someone who randomly told me of oregano oil and how it had saved her family from a lingering illness like this. So, I ordered this, started taking it right away, one capsule three times a day. And waited. Just a warning to people who need instant gratification: this is not Nyquil or morphine. You have to give it a little time to work. I woke up on my fifth morning and it was like a freaking miracle. Sore throat and swelling almost gone. Energy galore. My old self was peeking around the corner. I have been telling EVERYONE I come across about this. I cannot praise this stuff enough. It's not super expensive, very easy to swallow, and it's absolutely worth trying when nothing else works. Or before that, so you don't have to go through everything else.
