soul-baring original work
To write eloquently on a hard subject (the death of a child before a parent) must be the most difficult undertaking of any individual. Katherine Swett is both a brave and talented writer. The slim volume of poems is heart-felt and stylistically unique.

A spare glimpse into a soul in pain. A book of mourning. An elegy for a lost child. Ms. Swett writes with a simplicity that suits the raw feeling in her heart. I read it in a single extended breath and then I dreamt about it. Exquisite writing.

I believe he will love the gift
I read about this volume of poetry by Katherine Swett in the New York Review of Books magazine. And so I ordered a copy. The poems are a hallmark of brevity and purity of soul. They reflect both the beauty and pain of parenting. I can not praise it highly enough. I have purchased these poems as a birthday gift for my husband (an upcoming March birthday). I believe he will love the gift. The seller's service was prompt and efficient. Based on this one experience, I would recommend the seller as reliable.HMc
