Chronic edema of right ankle corrected and can be worn all day comfortably without leaving any marks even at edges. Has not lost any elasticity over two weeks and machine washing and drying.

For reference, I wear a sz 8.5. I ordered a S. This is a great compression ankle sleeve. I broke my ankle abt 3 mos ago. I purchased this sleeve to help with swelling as well as offer support for my ankle.Some compression garments are too tight, making them uncomfortable to wear. While others offer no support at all. This sleeve offers much needed support and comfortable enough to wear for hours. Superior quality. I have purchased other SB SOX products and a have been pleased with all my purchases.

Don't believe the few negative reviews you may see. These are the best ankle support braces I have ever owned. They are very well made and the fabric is top notch. I can wear them all day and my ankles and arches thank me for it. I wear a men's 10 wide shoe and the medium size ankle braces fit me perfectly even after being machine washed and dried.

Edit 3/25/21: I've been using them for about 3 weeks now and these things are amazing. They're the first foot brace I've used that has corrected the problem, rather than just help temporarily. After wearing them everyday for a week, I forgot to put them on. It took all day to realize it because my Achilles tendon pain was gone. After 2 years! They've stayed that way too, as long as I wear them a couple days a week. I bought a second pair so I'd always have a clean one.Wow. These compression braces are the best thing I've found for my recurring (and painful) Achilles tendonitis, along with several other foot and ankle problems caused by playing roller derby & skating. They're thick, but not overly so, they give the perfect amount of compression and it literally feels like it hugs your feet. Especially when they're swollen at the end of the day. I forgot to take them off last night because they feel pretty light, so I've been wearing them the last 24 hours with all the awesome support but zero cutting off my circulation. I'm good all day with zero pain killers.
