Was excited to get this log splitter. Assembled and started out with the smaller logs on the wood pile. Worked well and liked the arms that push the log apart.It all went south once I tried a standard length (16") log. It would not fit into the opening between the ram and the wedge.In fact, the maximum size this splitter can handle is 15 3/4", not the 17" advertised on Amazon, the Titan website, nor the even larger 18" listed in the specification section of the included assembly manual.If you buy rounds you know they are cut to be 16", give or take, as that is the standard. So this splitter is completely useless unless you cut down your own trees or have whole logs delivered. You then must be willing to put those smaller split pieces into into your stove/fireplace.This is clearly false advertising by Titan and now I have to take apart and repackage for return this 100+lb device. To be fair, I gave them the chance over three weeks to replace with one that was in spec. to no avail. Hopefully this review spares you both the return and customer support nightmare.

Says will cut logs up to 18 inches in length. We ct them 17.5. WRONG. u can only fit logs 15.5. They forgot to tell u the wedge is 2.5 inches itself. We had to go back and recut logs. When I called for help I was told to place a warranty claim. What will that do???? Nothing wrong with it if the logs were cut to 15.5. If we hadn’t of destroyed the box after assembly it would have been retuned right away.

Oil leaking after use, poor customer support
