The perfect pillow for me (finally)
I've finally found a pillow that is perfect for me. I've been through a lot including non shredded memory (tempurpedic) pillows, water pillows, feather pillows, synthetic pillows etc. None of them were perfect, each had it's pros and cons. Pillows are a very subjective thing, so what works for me may not work for you. With that being said, I can say without a doubt that this is the best pillow I've ever used. I have found virtually no negatives about it. It provides the perfect amount of support for my neck which tends to get stiff and it doesn't get hot. To me, it's the perfect pillow. I've been using it for over a year now and it continues to hold up and not get worn down. I don't recall any bad chemical type smells and if I did they didn't last long. If you're a light sleeper that has trouble staying asleep because of uncomfortable pillows or a sore neck I would definitely say this pillow is worth a shot. I'll never use anything else.

A very satisfied customer
For years I always purchased those cheap pillows under 20 dollars. They would always go flat quick and offered little support once they did. Finally I decided to bite the bullet and purchase a memory foam pillow. I decided to go with this pillow out of them all and I am glad I did. I Sleep much better, and feel more rested and ready to take on the day because of it. There are a few things I would like to inform you on.First, when the pillow arrives it is rolled and compressed so when you open the package the memory foam will rise a bit. However, as the company suggests, placing your pillow in the dryer on tumble dry with high heat for 15 minutes will make the memory foam fill out the pillow properly and becomes much softer and fuller leaving no lumpy feeling. If you order this pillow and you feel like, after opening, your pillow is only half filled or is not as filled as you like it to be put it in the dryer for 15 min and you will be pleased with the result.Second, as others and the company state memory foam can carry an odor. The company recommends washing the pillow on a low spin speed with cold water. In my opinion, as others have stated, the scent has dissipated to almost nothing and I have only had my pillow a short time. Washing it did speed up the process however and is always a good idea to begin with if you ask me.Leaving reviews of what I purchase is not usually my thing but this product is the first product I've purchased that has made me honestly want to. I hope my experience with this pillow can help anybody out there that may be having conflicting thoughts about ordering this based on some of the reviews of the pillow, "not being filled in," and everything. When this pillow arrives at your door and you use it for your first time, you will be happy you did. Also, the size of the queen pillow is 17 in x 28 in (43 cm x 71 cm for our friends using the metric system) so if you currently have a standard pillow of any type those standard/queen pillow sheets will work for the queen pillow as well making it easy to upgrade and not have to spend more on new sheets.

A soft and fluffy foam pillow.... at first.
I ordered the queen sized version of this pillow last week and received free one-day shipping through Amazon Prime. When it was delivered, I immediately noticed that it was lighter than the Serta iComfort cool gel memory foam scrunch pillow that I had previously used. I found the lighter weight to be a plus. I shook this pillow out vigorously to loosen up the compressed foam and then separated any remain clumps by hand and shook it out again. Within minutes, the pillow was incredibly fluffy. After taking a very comfortable, albeit short nap on it the day it arrived, my husband had me order a second pillow for him. We were hopeful that this pillow was a great fit for our needs. Now, I'm not so sure. The first night I slept on this pillow, it felt perfect. It was very soft and moldable. Unfortunately, it has not remained that way. During the past few nights, the foam in my pillow has been clumping together, making it both lumpy and too firm. While I would expect this after several months of use, to have this happen in just a few days is especially disappointing. I now find myself increasingly needing to shake out, fluff and reshape the pillow to try and get comfortable again. This makes it difficult to get back to sleep. While my husband is used to a firmer pillow, even he has found the clumping noticeable. We've decided to try laundering the pillows as recommended by the seller to see if this solves the clumping problem. I really hope it does, because they were simply wonderful the first day we had them. If laundering doesn't work, it may be back to the Serta pillows after all... at least for me.Other considerations...As for odor, I found that the chemical smell is very faint and virtually unnoticeable to me once the pillow is in a case, but I'm not sensitive to the smell of new foam normally anyway. Within a couple of days, any trace of this scent was pretty much gone. This is without laundering the pillow, which would probably resolve the slight smell even faster. To me, this is not a deterrent to using this pillow.Lastly, the cover on this pillow is reasonably soft and airy. The air circulation through the pillow is respectable. I don't see heat retention being a problem, unless the pillow really clumps up a lot, inhibiting air flow. Excess heat is less of an issue with shredded foam pillows, than those made of solid foam, due to the increase in circulation. I live in hot, humid Florida, so I greatly appreciate pillows that stay cool while you sleep. As long as increasing density of the internal foam doesn't interfere, I'd expect this pillow to distribute and dissipate heat fairly well.
