Uncompensated review of a stellar pitcher. After hearing about the touted benefits of alkaline water, I decided to do some research myself and liked what I read. Needing a water filtration pitcher, I decided to take it a step further & get an alkaline one - fortunately this one! The reasons I love mine are:1. Removes bacteria ( I have well water.)2. Improves my well water's taste.3. Economical with a 2 month filter versus standard 1 month filter.4. Does NOT leak when pouring.5. Slim footprint fits well in fridge.6. The added health benefits.I like mine so much that I came back to order another for a family member whose health I care about.

I ordered one and I have since ordered 2 more. 1 for my parents and 1 for my Aunt. The pitcher is nice and I have no issues with the pitcher. The filter fits snug so there is no leakage around the filter so all the water is being filtered. I have tested my water before and after the filter. It does take out all the contaminants that were in the water including Fluoride. My PH in my water in the house was 7.2 when tested. After running through the filter I'm getting 9.4. I'd say that's a great improvement. There is no weird taste to the water after improving the PH balance. You can sometimes here with Alkaline water, it has a 'taste' to it. I did not notice any. For me the water out of this pitcher reminds me of Fiji. It has a silky smoothness to it.

I love this pitcher, if you follow the instructions on how to set it up and make sure you place the filter in snuggly it works well. I tested my Florida water and got and alkaline rate of 7.5 - 8. I could taste the difference in the water immediately. I have no way of testing for fluoride, but as long as it removes some of it I should be better off then before. I have already recommended it to 5 friends and will continue to do so.The only negative is that the battery operated count for the filter replacement is not based on actual use. I was away for the weekend and didn’t use the pitcher, but the count went down anyways. So you have to be mindful of how many days your could probably still use the filter after the marker hits 0.

The only problem I had when I took the top off the middle part where you refill fell off very hard to put back together. I put it back on the pitcher but it want pop open when I press it. This filter is great.

We've been using this for more than a week now, and so far no problems. While it is smaller than our last Alkaline pitcher, the filters from that previous pitcher fits perfectly well, which to me serves the purpose for which we got it.Quality is ok. It is made of light materials, so we will see how long it will last.

I love it! So far so good! The only thing, is that the lid would not open. You have to pry it op m every time you fill it. I was really needing it though so I did not send it back. Otherwise, good!

After working with the lid not fitting in place easily, the spout not laying flat when trying to 'snap', 'force' the lid to close and finally getting all the steps right to do so....I am not an idiot, and it isn't rocket science, but geeze, what a process. Now the lid digital display does not work, pitcher is just on its first replacement filter so not that old. Guess I need to set up a date 'approximate' for when to replace filter :/

It seemed to be the most reasonable filter on Amazon. The water tastes great and it filters quickly. However, the plastic is quite thin and it will most likely break very easily. The digital fill counter started at 60 and stopped at 56. So it worked for 4 openings. I wish I had purchased another brand that was built a bit more ruggedly.
