Toysmith Mars Mudd (Assorted Colors)

I was looking for a product along this line to help give a couple of alien props a just-born appearance. This stuff worked the best! It's way firmer than other toy slime. It's kind of peculiar in that it comes out of the container as a whole jellied piece. If you take the whole piece and squeeze, it explodes into many tiny pieces. I was sure at this point that it was a waste of time and money. Picking up all the pieces, I gently mushed them back into one chunk. It was then I realized the product had usable properties. The Mars Mud cannot take forceful squeezing. But, gentle kneading will allow the product to stretch and mold without tearing. I put a paper-thin piece on one of the alien heads and allowed it to sit overnight. It dried as expected and adhered to the alien while still having a good shine. I was still concerned about discoloring, so I removed the dried piece (pretty much the same as pulling of a scab). No discoloring on the alien was noted. This product is exactly what I need to finalize the desired appearance on my alien props. I'll add a pic when the project is complete. None of the other slime products could even come close to Mars Mud!

Bought this a few months ago and it was terrible. Way too slimy, you can barely use it at all. It's really sticky and messy and it falls apart instantly. The only good thing is that when I asked for a refund I didn't have to return the item. Not that I'd use it anyway. I bought putty from Putty Planet instead and liked it much better.

It is cool to play with at first but starts breaking down after a month or so.

Bought as a gift for my 10 year old. She collects slime and loves this one. It’s not that sticky, good value, accurate color.Cool slime.

Great! Its slime like and feels wet but actually is not. Awesome product.

As a parent who has a 5-year-old, I would give this 0 stars because once it's on the clothes, it's never coming off. Well, once it's on clothes, the couch, the carpet... You name it, you might as well throw it out. But, if you can convince the kids to play with it naked in a room made of tile and linoleum, they will have a fantastic time. They love this weird goop and will play with it happily for hours.

While pretty, this slime had a more solid feel and didn't make the great fart sounds that even the dollar store kind did. It breaks apart easily, too. I keep finding bits all over my couch. Stick with the dollar store kind and skip this.

It is for my 6 year old nephew!! He loves it!
