Full Parts Housing Shell Pack Replacement for GBA SP Gameboy Advance SP (Purple Pack)

I’ve ordered these shells several times and they always turn out great. Ordered the “purple” colored one this time which images show it more of a plum/red color. What arrived was a very normal purple shell. Still looks great, but color on this one is misleading and needs updated photos. All other colors I’ve ordered have been fine.

I used this on a filthy SP I bought from a mom and pop shop many years ago (literally sticky and gross inside and out, like it was dropped in a pot of cola.) It served its purpose well enough. Some of the plastic pieces have tabs on them from manufacturing imperfections (usually the buttons and similar pieces,) but they cut and sand off just fineThat being said, the membranes in these are not quite as good as the OEM ones from your SP, so the buttons feel a little bit more flat and not a "clicky" (if you can call it that) than they should. It's recommended you keep the OEM membranes from your SP when applying this mod.

The shell was simple and easy to assemble, my only complaint is that it seemed to fit a little tight around the hinge area. Maybe it just needs broke in and used but otherwise a good purchase.

I got the purple one and it came with both of the screwdrivers that you’ll need. It’s honestly a great product and when I want to switch the colors, I’ll probably buy from this seller again. I had to YouTube how to do it but all the parts are there. You won’t regret it

After purchasing a preowned gameboy cheap because of the shells damage. I planned to change the shell, and so far its working well! Im loving this case! I didnt use the screws it came with. But make sure to use the small baggies to keep the certain screws seperate, also make sure to keeps the buttons and switches taped down to avoid losing any of them. It was easy to get here delivery was great.
