Incorporating Your Business For Dummies

When I told my seasoned entrepreneurial friends I read this starting my new company... they were actually impressed! Thought they'd give me the brow... but no. I own and LLC, and a Corporation is much different. This book was a great brush up on business structure, and gave me a few pages of questions for the CPA and Lawyer as we move into setting up the business structure. A must read for anybody in the same shoes.

If you need a place to start, this is a good book for that. Having been in business before, I was still about to pickup some things from this book that I did not know. While a lot of the information is generally known and common in practice, some of the specifics and reasons for things are not. For that, I'd say it's worth a read!

Great Book!.... if you need to grasp the total concept of incorporation this is your book. It doesn't leave you hanging with more question. It points you directly to sources to answer potential questions but keeps you accountable to do your own due diligence. #BossLife

Do I know more. Yes. Do I feel more comfortable about running my newly incorporated business. Not really.This book has alot of REALLY basic information and information that is good to know but not going to help me immediately running my S Corporation tax wise. While its probably a good read (only took me 3 hours to read the whole thing skipping the parts I knew) it didn't answer the exact questions I HAVE.

Well if you have a group or club and you want to go Nonprofit you need to think about going and picking up this book, it has a lot of useful information inside it that will help you decide how you want to set up your group, club or business.

Great book for novices interested in incorporating a business. It got a little detailed in places, but was understandable. Step by step procedures in the process are clear with examples.

Great book with lots of useful information to get a business off the ground. It also has state-specific requirements which was very beneficial.

If you're stuck on a plane and need to know how to incorporate a business this is a good start. I found online info sources more useful both to get up to speed and as a reference for specific issues.
