Adiyogi: The Source of Yoga

Quite a remarkable book for this age and a must read for spiritual seekers. If you are looking to seek your spiritual growth, this book will make you move ahead. The stories, findings, experiences shared in this book is timeless and makes you understand yoga makes human beings an endless possibility instead of our perceived limits today and intellect driven world. We are quite fortunate to live in a day and age when sadhguru shares his wisdom every day. Only the seeker will understand and experience this, not anybody else. Fascinating, blissful, engaging and energizing is my side effects of with reading of this book. I hope you experience the same :) with the stories and debates in this book.

This book captivated me much more than I expected it to. Adiyogi has become a living reality for me.A quote from Ursula Le Guin says it best: "True myths may serve for thousands of years as an inexhaustible source of intellectual speculation, religious joy, ethical inquiry, and artistic renewal. The real mystery is not destroyed by reason. The fake one is. You look at it and it vanishes. You look at the Blond Hero — really look — and he turns into a gerbil. But you look at Apollo, and he looks back at you. The poet Rilke looked at a statue of Apollo about fifty years ago, and Apollo spoke to him. "You must change your life," he said. When the true myth rises into consciousness, that is always its message: "You must change your life. "

What a great book this is. A must read for all spiritual seekers. Sadhguru is amazing and in this book he has poured a lot of his wisdom, although his real wisdom is not to be read but experienced through his techniques such as Inner Engineering.

I haven’t completed yet , nice to read and feels getting and in touch with spiritual, out of material world.

I took several intensive courses with this modern day mystic back in the late 90's and he continues to astound me with his sharing of his self-realized knowledge with the world. This is a great read, it does get a little deep and those with knowledge of Indian lore and legend will find the reading easier, but as an American still I am spellbound. A must have for anyone with interest in India, her lore, legend, gods, yoga, mystics etc.

Wealth of information ; wisdom is what the Indian civilization sits on 🙏 - for our well being ; growth ; everything that we can think of. This book just reinforces it :) ; beautifully written ; and yes one must explore the Himalayas

Absolutely magnific. A must read book on life and life quality and yoga. The content is spectacular, the way it is written is engaging. I really love it. But most important - it is a lesson in every word, an opportunity to live and experiment the teachings.Thank you once again, Sadhguru.

Ein sehr empfehlenswertes Buch, ich habe schon lange nicht mehr so ein großartiges Werk gelesen! Die englische Ausgabe lässt sich anfangs etwas schwer lesen finde ich, aber das gibt sich nach ein paar Seiten. Und zur Not gibt’s ja Google Lens als Hilfe. Würde es wieder kaufen und kann es nur empfehlen.
