I was using this for smaller quilts and then on a queen sized quilt I had used a spray but the quilt was to big and heavy so the added tacks were wonderful at keeping it in place.An added benefit - when making face masks. I put instructions per the CDC on washing instructions and proper use with filters and the metal nose band. Before I started doing that I was getting a lot of phone calls.

I've been using Quiltak for years now. It makes basting a quilt, which for me used to be the most redious part of quilting, a breeze. With a bit of experience (it does take a bit of getting used to) one can baste a king sized quilt in a couple of hours. Don't know what I would to without it - I hated pin- or needle-basting.

I am in love with these little time savers. Thought I would give them a try and now I don’t hate basting my quilts.

THERE IS A GREAT VARIETY OF COLORS TO CHOOSE FROM! WHATEVER COLOR YOUR QUILT TOP IS, THERE'S A COLOR THAT YOU CAN USE TO SEE THEM. SO WHEN YOU ARE DONE BINDING YOUR QUILT, THEY WILL BE EASY TO SEE TO SNIP OFF. CAN'T WAIT TO USE THEM ON MY NEXT QUILT!

This little devise with the gun is the best thing to happen to long arm quilting!!

Love my quiltak for sandwiching quilts to be machine quilted. Much easier than dealing with safety pins.
