Really handy exercise machine for RV - comes fully assembled and folds up out of the way easily when not in use
If the little mileage counter actually stayed on the machine and worked properly this would get 5 stars but since I'm not trying to hit any particular goal, it's really OK. I almost sent it back because it was really wobbly at higher tensions but then tried it with a bit less and it seems to do much better. For my purposes it's a winner but don't count on the "counter" to stay on or function as expected. If you just want a good, well put together, portable exerciser, this gets my vote. You do need to put something in back of the legs so the machine doesn't travel as you pedal but beyond that it's terrific for use in our RV and it folds neatly away when not in use. I'm really glad I cancelled the return - also, the seller was very responsive to my call for a working "counter" - I received one in the mail in just a few days after I notified them.

overall it's a fairly sturdy machine and pedals smoothly
This works well. Though the straps across the pedals could be easier to adjust. i sprained my thumb trying to slip the hole over the nub thing to loosen the damn thing. Also the metal shafts of the pedals get really hot to the touch after about 15 minutes of pedaling. Still, overall it's a fairly sturdy machine and pedals smoothly.

Five Stars
Great to keep my knee working and not so cumbersome as the recumbent bike I used to have.

Not recommended!
Very uncomfortable. I bought it to my mom. She did not like it at all. The pedals are to hard for her feet dorsal aspect. She tried with socks and even that cause too much friction.

Disappointed that there is no height adjustment.
I was really excited to get this and put it under my desk at my work for some extra movement while I'm sitting all day. I have to say, I'm disappointed.First, for almost $50 the machine doesn't seem to be very high quality. The tension rod does work for increased resistance, but it's only in some spots of the rotation, so you don't have a smooth flow. There is more resistance in some positions of the rotation than others, and to me it seems that it comes loose during use and you have to re-tighten it. It's also a little wobbly when using it and unless you REALLY engage your legs, kind of hopes around a bit....or maybe it's just me?Second, and the most disappointing, is that it does not have a height adjustment at all. In the assembled position, the pedals are about 6 inches from the ground, which would allow a little adjustment room. I find that it is too tall (I'm 5'3'' for reference) and I really have a find a taller chair than average for this to be comfortable to use. That would be great and all with an office chair, as I intended, however if I adjust my office chair up, my knees hit the bottom of my desk when peddling! I really need to be able to lower it a couple inches and it's just not possible, so it's not going to be near as useful for me as I thought. So, overall, it's ok if you have ample leg space and an adjustable chair. If not, then you're going to be disappointed. Don't plan to put it under your desk unless you have a tall desk.

Perfect For Elderly!
I got this for my 87 year old mother to use. It is a good quality piece of equipment! There is no assembly required. All you do is put it in front of your chair and pedal, which automatically turns on the digital counter to display number of rotations and calories burned. You can turn the dial to adjust the tension. If the angle is not good, try a different height chair depending on your preference. It's pretty light/easy to pedal but for an elderly person with limited mobility, it's a great item to use for some exercise.

I'm pregnant and have had some issues with my knees ...
I'm pregnant and have had some issues with my knees but am still too tired to exercise regularly. I thought this would help me keep my legs in shape and loose which it does. The downsides are the tension knob doesn't give it much for tension and the digital counter doesn't attach right and doesn't work.
