Tied several flies with this. When I went back to use them the wraps had all broken

I kind of like this stuff. The Squirmy Wormy is a pattern that might make some fly tying traditionalists "squirm" a bit, but there is no denying its effectiveness. It takes a little patience to become comfortable with this product, as it tends to rotate easily on the hook while tying. If using it with a bead, I find it more convenient to thread the material through the bead with a bodkin before mounting the bead on the hook, as it more often than not breaks off when trying to drag it through the opening in the bead once the latter is on the hook shank. It's also a good idea to avoid anything but water-based cements when finishing the fly, as organic solvents will weaken the material.

Perfect fir squirmy worry’s. I use a blue sharpie at the butt ens Iof the worm and it gives a natural 2-tone, life like color to the fly. I wear them out on this fly. Rainbows only. No browns have hit this.

This is an extremely low quality product with "seams" on the sides of the 'worm'. I had to return them and will buy a higher quality product elsewhere.
