Vegan Cupcakes - Chocolate Dessert - 12 Pack - Baked Fresh Day of Order

O.....M....G!!! These are the best chocolate cupcakes I’ve ever had! The cake is moist and rich. The frosting is light and fluffy. The flavor is deep and authentic. They’re truly fantastic. Unfortunately they were a bit of a mess when they arrived so I was a tad conflicted about giving them all 5 stars but I felt it was unfair to rate these delectable treats based on shipping inadequacies. I’d suggest wrapping the frosting in wax paper and shipping in dry ice. The fact that they are vegan was the selling point for me but you certainly don’t have to be a vegan to enjoy these goodies!

I called all over Sacramento trying to find a normal/basic flavored (chocolate or vanilla) vegan cupcake for my son's first bday since he has a severe dairy allergy and no bakeries in the area had any good options. I rolled the dice on having vegan cupcakes shipped from the East coast to California unsure of how good they would be after traveling that far and if they would even be good at all. After reading the actual House of Cupcakes store reviews I gave them a try. The cupcakes came quickly and tasted delicious. The frosting got a little mushed in travel- but considering how far they traveled they were in excellent condition. They were dense, moist and chocolatey, almost like a chocolate muffin and if I didn't know they were vegan I would never have never been able to tell. Would definitely buy again and highly recommend to anyone needing/wanting (vegan) chocolate cupcakes!
