Exquisite Form 30109 Women's Nylon Tricot Flutter Sleeve Short Knee Length Nightgown

I have two of these that I purchased separately in different sizes. the 1st one is way too big, but i still wear it since it is so soft and light weight. I ordered a smaller size the next time so it fits a little better, but still too big. The XL is probably equivalent to a size 18 or 20, so very roomy. These appear to be well made & I think they will last a long time. The gown looks nice too, a little granny-ish but not entirely. It's definitely more functional than sexy! It will be good for summer, especially after getting out of the shower. It is not for keeping warm in winter, but good for warmer nights or for people who like to stay cool. Overall, I highly recommend this gown if you want comfort & good quality in a silky-feeling gown.

I love this gown. When I got it I was so disappointed. It looked cheap and hot. I tried to give it as a gift but the receiver didn't like it either. By then it was too late to return it, so I put it in a drawer and forgot about.Then one day I was having a busy week and couldn't get my laundry done. I didn't have a clean nighty so I wore this as a last resort. I'm so glad I did. It's so comfortable and not hot at all. I usually wear cotton night gowns and usually wake up sweaty. With this gown I was comfortable and cool. Didn't sweat at all. I like it so much that I plan to buy a few more. This gown looks like it runs a little large but when I put it on it actually fits pretty well. It's actually true to size. Some reviewers have complained it looks a little matronly. It doesn't. It's pretty and feminine. But even if it did, personallyI don't care. Who am I trying to impress?

I like the feel of the material, I have sensitive skin! And wear these every night! A little pricey! And they last about one year, I’m on my fourth night gown! The material gets rough in the front! Don’t wash with towels or Bally socks!

Sizing: I bought the size based off measurements. My bust is 40 inches, so I purchased the large, and it fits me perfectly.Style: I'm a women in her late 20s who is into mid-century/retro style (think Modcloth). I find it hard sometimes to find comfortable, classy nightgowns that aren't super revealing nighties but also aren't something out of Little House on the Prairie.This nightgown is really flowy and is aaaaaalmost a mumu, but the neckline and draping are quite elegant. It's definitely roomy, which I like. I like to wear a scarf around my head while wearing this around the house and it suits my retro tastes quite well.Sheerness: I purchased the black nightgown, so I can't speak to the sheerness of the other colors. The black nylon material is not so shear that I'm afraid to let the neighbors see me checking the mail in this, but it's sheer enough that it's not something that could be worn outside for long periods of time without inviting question. I'd like to get the red nightgown if it comes back in stock in myLaundering: I wash it with everything in color water and then hang dry. So far I've laundered it in this manner ~3 times and it's in good shape. If you're worried about washing it with the rest of your clothes, you can always put it in a lingerie bag separately. I'd just make sure not to put it in the dryer.

This nylon nightgown is exactly, 100%, what I wanted. It is very light material, yet it will hold up for a long time because it's nylon. I got it to wear for the hot heat, which seems odd. But it's not polyester you have to remember and it's very flowy material very thin, very airy. And it's the perfect length right below the knee. I absolutely love it and it's the most beautiful rose color ever!

Gown is too big

Loved the style of this nightgown for my 82 year-old mother. Unfortunately, the color "Passion" was more of a subdued peach. The color may have been okay if the fabric wasn't so sheer. I attached a photo of the tag inside the gown and you can read it pretty easily. A darker color might be less sheer but I prefer to present my mom with colors that lift her spirits and make her heart happy. This one is a no-go and is being returned.

I have bought Vanity Fair gowns in the past and have always been pleased. I wear plus sizes and don’t like the look of most gowns because they often hug my hips. This is the second gown I have purchased from Vanity Fair. I bought my first one at least eight years ago and wear it every night. It is still in very good condition after numerous washings and time spent in the dryer.This gown is comfortable, well fitting and washes well. I like it so well I thought I better buy another one just to have on hand. I would highly recommend this gown in any size. But if your are a plus sized gal and want not only good quality but a flattering fit, this might be the gown for you.

Just what I needed, lots of room and pretty colour

I wanted a very thin, quick drying nightie for travel and this really fit the bill. The fit is generous. The length is great and the wide double hem on the bottom gives the nightie a bit of weight so it hangs very well. I just might buy another. Also, this periwinkle kind of colour is very pretty.
