Fun Little Circuit
Definitely took the slow boat from China getting here. Instructions were very clear, nice color photos and directions. Circuit board well labeled. I put it together in a couple hours. Sounds cool.Couple caveats, as I had to fiddle around a bit. For some strange reason, the AC adapter has to be connected for the circuit to get power. I chose to only to have a 9v battery connected, so I omitted the adapter part during assembly. Well, Circuit wouldn’t power on-no LED. So I ran jumpers from the positive and negative of the AC adapter and it powered right up. Also wired the tip wrong on the output jack, but that was a quick re-solder. So over all, a few hiccups, but nothing major. Pretty good deal for $27!

Clean project, Fun Pedal, Poor / Incorrect Instructions
This project went together in about two hours, and seems to work well. As other reviewers have stated, the instructions are poor in that they're just a bad photocopy of a one page board layout and wiring diagram. Also, the pinouts for the input and output jacks are incorrect and will not work as shown on the instructions. The ground wire is in the right place but the other ones are incorrect and need to be flipped.Other than that, the PCB and solder pads were good quality and the components fit well. It wires up just like the product photos show. The jacks, pots, and power connector weren't the best quality, but served the purpose and can easily be replaced if they become an issue. It's a fun pedal to play with (both in the assembling and the playing.) Hopefully you don't run into any of the issues that other people identified. I haven't yet (but I've only put about 30m of play-time on it so far.)

Fun if you have a sense of adventure
Firstly, the seller was awesome- fast and responsive. The assembly project was super fun. The finished pedal is nice and grungy. It would be nice to get a bit more instruction or schematic with the kit, but it isn’t that complicated and the seller will send pictures of the wiring if you need it. That said, I don’t recommend a DIY if you are uptight or don’t have a sense of adventure. I am actually shocked the pedal works since I have the mechanical inclinations of a gnat. I would guess that folks who’ve assembled electronics before will have a very easy time of it.

It's junk
Put the thing together after 4 hours of work and nothing. Directions suck didn't burn anything up on the board. Pure garbage. Save your money and get one that is already assembled.

Works great!
Threw this together at the dining table in under 2 hours and works amazing! I'm an amateur solderer and found this kit well put together and easy enough anyone with a 5th grade education should be able to do it. I'm not a hvac/luthier/plumber/whatever that other guy said.

Now for beginners but no engineering degree required
They did a great job at making this as easy as possibly - important to consider though intricately wiring an electronic device isn’t all that easy. Parts are clearly liable with tags and there are corresponding markings printed on the board. They tried to make the wiring diagram easy to read and it’s pretty simple but there are a few hiccups here and there but there are a lot of people online who have generously posted videos and more compartmentalized wiring diagrams. My only issue was that I got a dead LED that I’ve been too lazy to fix and getting everything to fit inside the case can be a bit of a chore, I’m not super keen on taking it apart again. The pedal sounds great, several of my musician type friends and I have been trying to place wha it sounds closest too and the most popular opinion is a Ram’s Head era Big Muff; extremely fizzly but still transparent enough to get chords through without being too muddy. I’ve actually been commissioned to make 3 more for other musicians for a good amount of profit, the blank case make s custom paint jobs easy. All in all I’m happy with the sound, parts, ease of assembly and instructions. I can’t recommend this to someone who doesn’t have a decent amount of soldering/wiring experience-if you wouldn’t be comfortable swapping pickups in your guitar and rewriting it then I would definitely steer clear of this for now. There are cheap practice wiring/soldering porojects for like $10, give a couple of them a crack before taking a run this. Good luck folks!

Does not work. Amended
Purchased this pedal because I enjoy putting guitar effects together. Wanted to experiment with Fuzz. Cannot get the pedal to work. Triple checked the schematic, resoldered several joins, but cannot get anything other than the LED to light up. No signal passes through when engaged or bypassed.--Edit: I wanted to revisit this, and update the review.I recently bought a different pedal build. There was less documentation, but the seller was far more helpful. While comparing wiring, to make sure everything was correct, I pulled out this pedal. I checked the wiring, and found a spot where it was incorrect. I moved the wire to the correct contact point, and suddenly it works. My takeaways from this project:The schematic is wrong in more than one place.A little Google image research and better understanding of guitar circuits helps to identify these kinds of inaccuracies.I would have rated this higher if the schematic they provided didn't set you up for failure from the beginning.

This kit is awesome!
I absolutely loved this kit!! It was a blast to put together, I have been using it daily since I completed the build. I am so looking forward to purchasing another kit from this company! What an outstanding value!! Shipping took some time, but that’s because it was not local. Any-who, totally recommend this for anyone with a basic understanding of electronics and schematics!
