The Lention USB-C dock (CB-D54) does just what I wanted with my MacBook Pro 16 inch 2021 laptop. I am able to plug in my external monitor, speakers, Apple Watch charger, network, and power adaptor (that leaves 4 USB type A available ports for my Spark and Fender amps etc.). When I want to take my laptop remote I just unplug the hub and go.Power is limited to 100w but that hasn't been a problem as it keeps my laptop charged even when using GarageBand and running a Windows virtual machine in Parallels (which would have been a challenge using my old MacBook Pro 13 inch 2018 laptop). Make sure you use the USB-C cable that comes with the dock to connect your computer and, if you're using the USB-C 140w power adapter that comes with the MacBook Pro 16 inch 2021, connect it with a USB-C PD 3.1 cable and you'll charge with 100w.This is the second Lention dock I've had (the other is on my Mac mini) and they are built well, feel sturdy, look good, and work fine. I highly recommend Lention docks. I've contacted their tech support with questions and they've always gotten back to me within 24 hours or so.

This dock works great. I'm currently using 4 ports on the dock (one USB-C to charge my laptop, HDMI to connect to my 4K 60Hz monitor, USB-A for my mouse's Bluetooth receiver and the ethernet port). On my laptop end though, I only need one wire to connect the dock -- this makes my desk setup really conveninent for hot plugging.I had a small hiccup in setting up the dock (Display output wouldn't work because I was using the wrong cable), the support team were great and promptly helped me in resolving the issue.A small thing I noticed is if the my laptop is not connected to the dock, other ports on the dock don't work (even USB-A for charging), but this is an edge case that I rarely encounter.

I bought it, thinking that I could use two USB-C ports, but after receiving the item, I realized that it only has one USB-C port to connect to the host laptop. Another USB-C port is only for powering up the dock. I need an additional USB-C port or two, so I am returning it.But I have to say that it is a quilty device. If you are okay with only one USB-C host port, you will be satisfied with this item.

I love how it reduced the amount of cords on my desk with the slider up-right design. It fits everything you would need if you're a music or content creator.

I love Lention. This is a very high quality product that delivers high performance for such a small package and price. It works hard very well and so does the Lention team. They have been extremely helpful in supporting all my needs. I have heavy usage needs and this docking station does it all. I am so happy I have a superior product with the support of even more superior team.

I bought this updated version because it has 60Hz support and offered ports more suitable to my workflow. I use them both side by side with dual monitors (one monitor on each unit). But I have found that this unit does not support the HDCP protocol, so you can't watch protected movies on a display connected to it. I have tried different HDMI cables that I know work with HDCP and a monitor that I know supports HDCP. The problem moves with this device. Not a big issue for me, as I can just drag my movie to my other screen attached to my other hub, but for some this might be an issue. I absolutely love every other aspect about it, that's why it's still worthy of 3 stars. If nothing else this should be in the product description.

I ordered and received this product because it is advertised with a charger and cable. When I opened the packaging it did not have a charger nor a charging cable. I have tried to resolve this issue but the company Lentin has not contacted me back. After numerous days contacting them, they refused to help me in any way and were very unkind in treating their customers. I will not be doing business with them anymore. Stay away from this manipulative and lying company.

Me solucionó todos mis problemas para poder conectar mis discos duros y al mismo tiempo conectar mi MacBook Pro a la corriente. Los que tenemos una mac con sólo 2 puertos tipo C es un dolor de cabeza conectar hardware variado al mismo tiempo y además tener conectada la mac a la corriente, con esta Dock Station se soluciona todo.Su diseño es pequeño y no ocupa mucho espacio. Como plus, me sorprendió la velocidad que me dió al conectar el modem vía ethernet al dock, mejorando mucho mi velocidad de internet.Mu recomendable

This makes my desk so much neater, and it works like a charm. Tends to run a little hot at times and I informed the seller, but not something I am overly concerned with. Will monitor this. I have three hard drives connected in the back, along with my HDMI monitor. Still have all the front ports available, making it so much easier to use Time Machine, etc. Just ensure you have power running to it to use all the ports. Highly recommend this product.

Yes, the lightning usb-c port might end up being a dead slot, but everything else is fine.

Esta cómodo y buena calidad solo que tuve que comprar un usb Thunderbolt 3 extra ya que no venia en la caja para poder cargar la mac con el dock y usarla cerrada.
