I Really Like This Mattress
As a sleep specialist, I am very picky about mattresses. I will also say that mattresses are a very individualized purchase, so what is provides a fantastic night of sleep for one individual may not for another. Here are the positives:1) The mattress is easy to order and set up, in fact, it's quite exciting. The mattress comes vacuum sealed and rolled up inside a box. It was very easy to transport to its home. Once there, the mattress was set on the bed frame, and the plastic cover removed. It's pretty entertaining to watch the mattress expand to its full size and form. While it would be easier to have a friend helping you set it up, one person can handle it.2) The mattress is attractive and has a very high-end appearance. The cover on the mattress is exceptionally easy to remove and clean if that is necessary (I removed it and put it back on...easy). Other mattress manufacturers recommend that you spot clean; Yogabed recommends machine wash with cold. If I have to clean it later on, I'll update this review with the results.3) The materials used by the company are certified CertiPUR®. MANY other companies have this certification, and while this is not a seal of being organic, it's at least an indication that your bedroom will not be a den of off-gassing, formaldehyde, and heavy metals.4) The bed is very comfortable. Despite its top layer of memory foam (called Instant Response YogaFoam), you are not going to feel like you are trapped on a marshmallow. While I think the feeling of lying on traditional memory foam is interesting, I do not like sleeping on it. It's hard to move around. For my patients with movement disorders (Parkinson's disease, stroke), they can literally feel trapped at night. This mattress gives you that initial feeling of memory foam, but it is much more responsive and, for lack of a better word, springy. It supports without enveloping. I love the way it feels. If you try one out (and you can for 101 nights according to their website), move around on it. Feel how easy it is to roll off, sit up, scoot over to breathe loudly into your partner's ear, etc..5) The bed is cool. Besides the smell (this bed has no odor), the worst thing about memory foam is the fact that it traps heat better than a black car with dark leather seats on a scorching day. This bed sleep cool, presumable from the layer of YogaGel inside the mattress. The web page states that this material dissipates heat 7 times more than memory foam. I cannot verify this. I can tell you it is cool (it is currently 97 degrees outside).6) The cost was very reasonable. On Amazon, I got a full bed for $699.The Cons:1) The mattress is not able to be customized in terms of its internal construction. This is common with most popular mattress companies to help keep costs down. (SavvyRest mattresses allow you to customize the internal organic latex layers, but this comes at a price that is just shy of 10 times the Yogabed).2) The bed can be made "adjustable" by purchasing the adjustable base. It can be "split" adjustable as well by combining two twin mattresses. This is not a standard feature.Bottom line, for the price, this is an outstanding mattress and worth a try. There is no reason not to...at 101 days for a trial, you're getting one extra day compared to all of the other bedding outlets!

So comfortable! Easy delivery and set up too!
After sleeping on a Yogabed for the first time at a friend's house this summer, I knew I had to have one. I have slept on other memory foam mattresses, but found that they can be hot. The Yogabed has two distinct pluses -- 1) it is firm enough where you don't "sink" into it and 2) it is not hot at all. The delivery and set up were a breeze. I purchased the frame for the mattress directly from Marpac. Again, easy, on-time delivery and set up. Both items arrived in good shape in boxes that could be moved into tight spaces before setting up the bed.One great feature of the Yogabed mattress is the cover. It is a nice, soft fabric that zips off for cleaning. After a spill on the bed, I zipped the cover off and washed and dried it at home. It easily zipped right back on.I'd recommend this mattress for anyone wanting a good night's sleep!

I really, really needed this mattress!
My boyfriend got lucky and found one of these mattresses at Habitat for Humanity for a pittance. After sleeping on it a few times, I knew I had to have one. I have two compressed discs in my lower back, a broken tailbone from 20 years that didn't set right, and broad shoulders that lead to pinched neck/arm nerves if I sleep wrong. Even on some of the best mattresses, I'll wake up every few hours from discomfort. THIS mattress, though, let's me sleep a full 6-8 hours and wake up feeling GOOD.

Too soft for me so I returned it
This is really nice mattress and I really wanted to like it. After doing a lot of research and reading so many reviews I selected the Yobabed. Unfortunately, it was just too soft for me; I felt like I was sinking into the bed. After 30 days I contacted them about returning it; I was curious how this was going to work. What they did was contact a number of non-profits in the area that would accept a mattress. At first it was going to take well over a month which I thought was too long to return something. They were finally able to find a couple that needed a mattress and we schedule a time for a pickup. I now have to wait a week for a refund.I don 't know what I expected the return to be like, but this wasn't it. I'm glad it didn't end up in a landfill but just be ready for a long process to return a mattress. This isn't and Amazon Prime return.

My favorite bed
I researched, and looked into a new bed for a long time. I was very skeptical about the "yoga bed" but saw the reviews so decided to give it a try.The bed shipped and was delivered on time to my apartment which is on the second floor of my building. The box was left right outside my front door which made it super easy for me.Set up was simple and the offgasing smell that some have mentioned wasn't that bad at all for me.I've been sleeping on the bed for a month now and it's great! I came from an extra firm temperpedic and I sleep much better on the Yoga bed. Its firm and provides the right amount of support, but it's also a bit more springy like a classic mattress. My girlfriend sleeps on her stomach and she hated my old bed. She loves my new yoga bed and so do I!

If you are a side sleeper and looking for a good night's rest. You should probably keep looking.
I've been tossing and turning for awhiile not able to consistently sleep through the night while on this bed. I'm normally a side sleeper and think here is the problem. The bed is just a little bit too hard. I have given it 5 months to break in but I still find it too hard. If you are a small person you may not experience this problem. I weigh approximately 195 lbs. In the company's defense I just reached out to them about this issue. If they respond responsibly then you will see this review change to reflect their good business practice.
