RUSK Deepshine Smooth Keratin Care Smoothing Conditioner

After damaging my hair by over-using a lightening spray in March 2012, coloring over it With different shades of brown/blond until finally doing a full bleach TWICE, followed by a color-toner mixture my stylist concocted in March 2013... my hair is now damaged to all hell, for a lack of better wording. I am Japanese and have Dark hair that I've been growing out since March and the blonde becomes more damaged as time passes. I've been using Biolage Color Care Shampoo and Conditioner for about a year, along with the Rusk Shampoo, followed with I10 Miracle Oil with keratin, but after awhile it wasn't enough. As soon as I switched to this conditioner, my hair was soft and I could comb it easily for the first time in months. I still use both shampoos and the oil, but this conditioner is the most effective of all. Plus this beats the retail price of about $17? (what I last paid in store)

Yes!! I have used this item for a couple of years. It done away with my split ends and makes my hair soft. I have my hair colored and this product keeps my hair healthy.

I just got it today but already love this product!I was looking forward to using this product after reading some good reviews. I also use their Deepshine Lustre too, and it has been helping my unmanageable hair.I was running out my old conditioner, and right on time I got this conditioner. I was little worried when/after I was rinsing it off because my hair wasn't that smooth, but oh my gosh, when you dry it, you will know! Ive been touching my hair last 30 mins because it is not like my own; my hair had never been so smooth or shiny. Like I mentioned above, I have been using Rusk deep shine lusterizer, but this conditioner definitely works way more! I can't wait to see if there is any longterm benefit to my hair using this product.When I run out my shampoo, Ill get their shampoo as well, and I can't wait!Why 4 stars? It has strong smell, and reminds my grandma lol but I don't usually put perfume or anything; so, it could be just me... I didn't think it was chemical smell either... strong flowery smell.Seller:I was expecting to get this today, but they actually delivered it yesterday and left a note, which I don't mind... Like others say, you will get it on time.

I like this Rusk line and use both the shampoo and conditioner. I have very fine, thin and brittle aging hair and this seems to smooth and strengthen it. Leave the conditioner in for at least 3-5 minutes and it rinses squeaky clean, but you can tell the difference when you go to style it. I also use the Deep Shine aquamarine balm just before drying my hair to protect and smooth it a bit, just a dab will do ya.

I am a blonde and highlight my hair 2x/year. My colorist recommended this brand and I am never turning back. It helps clean my hair, straighten some of the wave, and takes care of my color to help it last so long.

For someone with fine hair, this is a great conditioner.

I didn't find this conditioner to be earth shattering amazing, but it's not bad. It's thick but doesn't weigh down my hair, which is long and gets oily quickly. No noticeable difference between shampooing alone or also using this conditioner, except that if I don't use it I can get an extra day or so without my hair starting to get greasy. I do let it sit on my hair for a bit in the shower, and then I can use my fingers to comb through my hair, which can't be done if just using shampoo.I'm not using it with the matching shampoo and I've never had a professional keratin treatment so perhaps those are needed to achieve best results. I use a color shampoo by Matrix since I bleached my hair earlier in the year so I could make myself a unicorn, and then maybe every other time I use Paul Mitchel's no 2 clarifying shampoo. I don't always use conditioner after I wash my hair, but I've been using this Rusk one for a couple months now. I pretty much only air dry and don't usually use any styling products.It does have a heavier perfume smell than other products, but it doesn't stay with you. I like the smell, which was very apparent when I received my Amazon order because there was a bunch of conditioner all over the place. Luckily it was shipped in a bag, but the cap wasn't on right or something so a bunch came out. Amazon was willing to refund or issue a replacement, but I had to send it back, which I didn't get around to in time.
