Smart Wi-Fi Plug, Wahom Wireless Smart Socket Romote Control Your Devices from Anywhere, No Hub Required, Compatible with Alexa

This Wifi power plug switch works great. I got 2 of these for my garage doors which we have found open a couple of times - hacked or just some accidental signal opened them? The garage door openers are old (circa 1994) Genie brand with "Type 1" security code technology. I'm sure these are pretty easily hacked. I didn't want to throw them away however so I got these Wifi power switches and plugged each Genie door opener into them. Yes, It requires 1 more step (phone app) to power up/down the door opener, but security is greatly improved!

Can't be the price on this smart plug, and it just works. From out of the box to controlling a window air conditioner with Alexa took less than 10 minutes. Connecting it to the WiFi only took about 2 or 3 minutes, and it worked right away with no hassle. I ordered more I liked it so much. If you are looking to get the apps ready before receiving the plug you want to get Jinvoo Smart.

If this continues to work this seamlessly, I'm happy. It's my first smart addition to the Echo Dot I just bought on Prime Day. I'm still learning but it was easy to set up.

These were my first wifi recepticals, and set-up was easy and they work well. The only negative about them is their size. Since they are three prong outlets (which is definitely what you want), you obviously can't flip one over, so you can only fit one of them in a single-gang duplex recepticle. They do, however, leave enough space to be able to use the other half of a recepticle. They work seamlessly with Alexa once configured.

It works as advertised and connects on the first try to the network and to the alexa app. You can also control them with a proprietary application you have to download.NOTE: it has a little lag when you press on/off but nothing major.

Love this plug. The plug is super easy to set up. Just scan the QR code, create/login Jinvoo Smart Home account and connect to home Wi-Fi. The plug automatically completed the upgrade and ready to use in less than 5 minutes. The plug is also compatible with Amazon Alexa, and it can be quickly added to Alexa Smart Home and use voice command to turn/off light. I wish I have more plugs like this at home.

Setup was slightly less complicated than the more expensive TP-Link product, and this one has a slimmer profile too. A terrific buy at just $16.

Stopped working after 5 months - up until then it functioned as it was supposed to. We did have a power outage when it quit working, but everything else in the house came back normally.
