Item was just as pictured. I just received it last week so cannot speak to the longevity or overall durability but it feels well-made. I like the ability to easily switch from different levels of brightness and the solar panels being inside is a great idea to keep them from getting scratched or broken. Overall happy with the purchase (so far).

Had a very old battery powered lantern that was rarely used because our electricity rarely goes out - until a few weeks ago. When I found the old lantern I also found it took 6(!) D cell batteries which of course who has those on hand anymore (or ever). So we scrambled to find some candles to light thinking it wouldn't be long. Well, 4 hours later the power finally came back. I decided right then to go searching for a modern lantern and found this one. It's great! I love it because it doesn't look like a lantern. It's small but powerful. I use it as a regular light like in our dimly lit laundry room or when I need to find something in the back of a closet and a flashlight is too cumbersome. The high setting is really bright. I'm usually content with the low setting.It arrived already charged but since I wasn't sure how much was left, I plugged it in. It took about an hour to full charge and it's been going for hours since then using it off and on. I haven't tried the solar charge yet, but I don't camp so unless our power is out for days, I would probably not need that feature. I will most likely be getting another one because my better half seems to want to keep taking this one to work in the shed every time I want to use it to sit on the porch at sunset and read.

This light is great! We bought it for a small lamp in our RV, in order to save our battery power. The uses for this thing are endless and sure would come in handy in an emergency, as it will also charge your devices. I took it out of the box and plugged it in, took about 2.5 hours to fully charge. I tested it by leaving it on until it died, it lasted over 8 hours on my kitchen counter! Will be leaving it outside to charge while camping. I'm VERY happy with it and will be handing these out for Christmas! Highly recommend!

Got 6hrs at full brightness on a close to full charge. Nice light!

Took these light to Cuba for friends without electricity most of the day. They loved them and they worked perfectly!! Even used to charge their phones.

These were bought for when we go camping and for emergencies. The lighting is not harsh, but is bright enough to be able to see well.

I waited two weeks before writing this review for the solar lantern. I charge it outside during the day and use it as a night light in the house. I leave it on overnight, and the next morning—it’s still on! The design is simple and efficient, and it’s easy to clean and use. The battery life is impressive. I feel confident knowing I’ll be prepared for events like the recent power outage in Spain and Portugal. I really appreciate the peace of mind this product gives me. I did have some issues with the unit and contacted the seller. They were responsive and provided excellent customer service. I highly recommend this product!

This is fantastic! Right after we bought it, we had a power outage. It was so easy to use you carried around easily. It sits on the counter. You can hang it. It charges with solar panels when you open it up. It’s very bright, which is exactly what you need in a power outage And it’s also easy to charge with the electrical power once it came on super awesome product. I actually went back on Amazon and ordered a second one after I got the first light and realized how nice it was..
