Good quality, Clean burning, Lotsa of variety, Fair price point
The media could not be loaded. These are very good quality incense. The variety pack I purchased (The Magic Hour) is not "incense-y" necessarily in the traditional sense of incense. It is clean burning (no black smoke) and the way it diffuses and smells in the air is almost reed diffuser like. It's a more even distribution of scent in the air that has a lightness to it. It isn't in any way subtle, the scent of one incense will fill up a medium size room adequately. But it will not put you in a choke hold as with masala hand rolls or punched you in the face with overly synthetic fragrance as with cheaper synthetic oil dipped incense. The scent of these are not fully natural like Japanese or Tibetan incense. They seem to be a cross between them all, reed diffusers, hand dips and all naturals. But they are very well blended and each scent has its own vibe. They are also thoughtfully packaged (plastic in individual cardboards) so that the scents don't bleed into eachother while packed in the same box. That's an issue I've experienced with purchasing so many variety packs over the years. And of course, the packaging is super cute, so, Plus+Plus. There's room enough in my mood and personality for all the incense mentioned above, so this is a "no hate" review.Pixie Island smells like mens cologne out the package and changes a bit in the air. But it isn't offensive. It's like mens blue fragrances if anyone is into the fragrance world. It's more of a masculine vibe then a neutral ocean type scent. But good.Mystic Sea gives off a scented sachet vibe out the box but becomes a bit more ozone-niactic in the air. It's a little complex to discribe accurately but It's a light fragrance, breezy almosts, compared to the others, but it's pleasant.Enchanted Forest is the heaviest punch of the bunch. If you like masala hand rolls and powdery rose scents, this has more of that robust feel. The rose signature in this scent is very pronounced and this scent will hang around awhile.Tree of life has a tad bit of an astringent almost citrus and a very light herbal smell out the box. In the air it gives off more of a green vibe. (again, if you're into the world of fragrances) It's like picking a fresh tea leaf and crushing it between your fingers and getting a whiff of that fragrance while burning one twig of the tea bush itself. This flavor is also on the lighter side in the air.Boho Escape is almost sunscreen-y out the box. I actually like this scent. In the air it's almost lactonic with a pinch of cocoa butter vibe. Like condensing heavy cream with a touch of cocoa powder on the stove that's just on the verge of burning, scorching the bottom and sides of the pan. The steam and smell hangs in the air and as it hits the nostils and lands at the back of the tongue you get an almost burnt taste, but also, ya kinda like it. There is definitely a fruity undertone there, but for me, I get more of that milkness. It's a cozy feel.Free Spirit out the box smells like when you peel an fresh orange, that initial burst when your nails break through the peel, that citrus tang with the slightest undertone of the bitter from the rind. In the air you still get the citrus but with a bit of spiciness that may scratch you softly at the back of your throat. Could be from the natural woods of the base of the incense itself mixed with the essential oils of this particular scent as it burns.Anyways, this brand seems to have many many flavor options and I've already ordered 2 more variety packs. I love fragrances and incense and have been using incense since my mid-teens. I've tried so many types and flavors over the years including burning straight-up herbs and woods. I just love letting my nose send happy signals to my brain.I would recommend this brand for the sheer variety they offer at a fair price point, but also for the quality of the clean burning sticks and well blended scents.Have fun lightin'up peeps!

Want That Spa Smell in Your Crib? This is What You Need!
I'm an unabashed Incense Goddess.I'm an unabashed Incense Goddess. Now that we've established this all around truth.....I enjoy burning incense and have since my college days. Purchasing incense from all over the world keeps me wanting to face another day, and this set of incense was no different. Folkulture Incense Co. features an entire line of variety boxed set incense products. Each box contains incense that tend blend well along a theme of herbal, flowery, woodsy etc.. The box I ordered seems to be full of soothing scents, one that blew me away was the Arabica Coffee! And yes, smelled like a cup of Joe laced with vanilla, not cloying at all to me. This is a morning favorite of mine.Other favorites among the six packs of twenty sticks each, are as follows:Frankincense: Earthy, but with a bougie spa candle-like essence. Would recommend for those days at work when you've been called into the boss' office for getting that report in late, but you know the next day will be a new opportunity to improve because YOU are the bee's knees!Coffee Arabica: Please, if anything, try this one!!!!! Folkulture did a wonderful job rendering a cup of joe that smells like the Saturday morning yoga venture with your beloved dog or cat (both of whom are named after your great-great Uncle, Francis).Aqua Breeze: I use this one when I wanna feel New England Yacht/Atlantic Cruise confident, and you will too! Might be a bit too perfummie for some, I must admit, this one had to grow on me though. I tend to like to use it on a nice windy day when I can open all my window to make my neighbors think Martha Stewart is using my bathroom, and yes, it smells this good when she's finished! Nah-nah-boo-boo!Mint & Basil: Ok, this had me before I lit it. Very chill scent, I burn it any time of day to calm me the hell down after spending 29 minutes in the CVS drive-thru AFTER work.Notice these reviews speak more to how these incense make me feel than what they actually smell like? Powerful stuff!Lavender: This one threw me for a loop, not much authentic lavender essence as more of an interpretation. More of a sassy lavender, like my Aunt Marva, who gives pretentious-ness a bad name, but makes up for it by calming your anxieties because, after all, she really does care. Relax, enjoy, and unwind to this scent while soaking in a nice, well deserved, warm bath. (Not just for women either!)Green Tea: One of my favorites next to the Arabica Coffee. The essence of green tea is prominent with notes of key lime and thyme making for a great blend that pleases the senses. I know this one can outshine any soy candle on the market.I tend to prefer my incense a bit witchy and otherworldly, but glad I took a chance on trying Folkulture Incense. I plan to try their many other box sets as well, to add to my already voluminous incense collection!

Almost perfect tbh 😩 they smell so good and I love them so much💗 (manifesting pack)
These has to be one of the best incenses I’ve had experience with. The ONLY downside is that they burn fast and quickly :/ and the scent being not lowkey after it’s done being burnt. I times a lot of these scents when they’re being burned, most of them just burn under 40 minutes, specifically 38-39 minutes only. Other than that here’s all the good comments I have :)To start off the scent variation and how many sticks there are for each is just so great 😩 they ALL smell SOOOO SOOOO GOOD. They aren’t particularly strong or strong to begin with but u can definitely smell the scent when it’s burning. The only time I can still smell the scent is when I’m out of my room for a while and my nose gets refreshed and then come back to my room after a bit and can smell the clear different with my room and the hallway and other rooms. These scents are pretty modern and has the right amount of scent when being burned(not overly strong or too weak). So far my fav has got to be the lavender one, it’s just so good 😩 the scent is ‘strong’ enough to only linger about a day in my room, so just the day after and the the second day it’s gone. All the sticks are the same color and the packaging came with this perfume good smell I thought it was all from the incense(it’s not), I was afraid they all smelled the same, that was until I opened the plastic wrap and took few incenses out and sniffed them, they all smelled differently :)Needless to say I’m pretty happy with these, I only wish these burn a little longer cuz they all smell so good. I will definitely be purchasing these again after I’ve used up this pack :)
