Where have you been all my life, water beads?
I recently went to a 2 year old's birthday party, and they had some of these water beads out for the kids to play with. I had a great time with them and impulse bought these while still at the party. They're great. They get to be about marble sized when fully hydrated. During the process, though, they take on this cool, bumpy blastocyst look. I made up a few small batches of the blue, the purple, and the multi-colored. Don't be concerned by how dark they appear when small, they lighten up considerably when you soak them and become more pastel (they look just like the pictures). I used them to fill a few liquor bottles I had saved, because I liked the look of the bottles (I'm not just a wino hoarder) and had a great afternoon just sticking my hands in a bowl of them. I didn't have any issues with them breaking or squishing, but I'm 37, not 4, so mileage my vary depending on one's level of motor skills. Now I'm in need of more bottles/containers to put these things in, because I've got like 59,000 more beads still waiting to be hydrated. I'd love to toss them all out in the spa, if I wasn't positive it would destroy it. Maybe I'll get one of those kiddie pools and roll around in them.In conclusion, if a 37 year old can extract so much pleasure from these things, I'm sure an actual legitimate child would have a great time. And they look great if you shove them into bottles and vases and stuff if you want to be all adult about it.

Break apart easily, great for gentle use
These water beads are pretty big in comparison to orbeez or elongdi water beads. They are fun to play with but they do break apart easily. I like them over all, but for my kid who gets excited when playing and likes to squish I would recommend the elongdi brand as they will hold up longer. But for gentle use these are great.I included a comparison picture, orbeez in the middle, elongdi on the left, and viivria on the right.

Amazing little beads
I purchased this product for a photography project and was not disappointed. The beads arrive dehydrated about 2 mm, so I started off with little expectation. I placed the beads in a bucket and covered them with water and surprised 5-7 mm (about 1/4" or slightly larger) each. They are fairly durable since I dropped one or more on the floor and it did not pop. Once hydrated they have a glossy and reflective appearance to them and have a gelatinous feel to them. I tried dehydrating them laying the collection flat over several days and they will begin to shrink and become very sticky after a point. It was easy to re hydrate them back to their original size. They come in a variety of colors so I will say it is a good product for the money spent.

Best choice for large volume!
This is the larger variety of water beads and definitely the one you would want to use to fill something like a kids pool or larger. I bought 5 packs of these and poured them all into the bathtub (I used bathtub liners and you’ll see why in the pictures) and after about an hour they looked all bubbly and I added more water. I let these set in sufficient water for about 8 hours overnight to be ready in the morning. The last picture I posted is why I’m glad I used the liners since the tub was overly full with the water beads. I used cold water to grow these. I did a small scale comparison between cold water and hot water and found that the hot water ones did grow slightly faster but also broke apart a lot easier. If you do not let these sit long enough to grow and remove them too soon they are going to be easily smashed! If they don’t have enough water they won’t grow! The colors of the beads in their packaging do look dull and boring but they do not look anything like that after you grow them.

So many great uses!
There are so many beads, it's so great for so many uses! I love using them in flower vase, but great for sensory projects, as well. Each color comes sealed in it's own bag, and then it also comes with small zipper sealed bags to keep each color in once you open the package. Would have liked a bit more variety in color (2 blues and 2 greens), but it is fine for what it is!

Easy to Use, Great for Sensory Play
I purchased this set as a gift for a friend's son and he loves them! They're easy to soak overnight and by morning the beads are ready for sensory play (she puts them in a big plastic bowl). They're very small to start (about the size of a poppy seed) and grow to the size a pea. Each color is packaged individually so you can easily use just one color or mix them all together for a colorful experience. These are also reusable if you let them air dry and shrink back in size before storage and then just rehydrate them overnight again.Overall, these are easy to use and make an excellent gift for anyone who loves sensory play and I certainly recommend them.

Great Value, hours of enjoyment for kids.
These have given both my own children (2 boys ages 4 and 8) and the kids I teach, fifteen 4 and 5 year olds hours and hours of fun, and I still have a bunch left. The kids will play with them until they fall apart. They also make a nice sensory bag for my boys with sensory processing issues.

Water beads great product for sensory bags!
Love these water beads! My grandkids and I enjoyed making sensory bags with various plastic ocean fish, etc. for those folks with anxiety issues to use. It was a great project and very much help to all! They are very excited about this project. We did not initially realize how much the would expand with the water, but we are now familiar with the product and realize these beads would make many more sensory bags than we started out with. Thank you...great product!
