Thank you for inquiring about a Danco product. You can either use plumber's putty or the gasket that is included.

Q: Do I need to go under mobile home to install nut?

I cut an access hole in the drywall on the other side of the wall near the floor. I was able to install the nut from there. You can buy a factory access door that fits the opening and it is easily removed for future repairs.

Q: This is for my bathtub so do we need to go under the trailer to put this on?
