These are great for newborns. I bought other cloth diapers (AI2) but despite being one size fits all, they're huge on my newborn. They're not waterproof since they're fabric all the way through but they will absorb for a while before reaching the outside. I wish there were more available in this size.

These are perfect for the newborn baby. They're smaller than all the other 'one size fits all' cloth diapers. These are meant to be cradling tiny baby butts.The front can be snapped down to give the umbilical stump some room to heal and dry.The yellow floral pattern is very sweet. Although it looks glaringly bright in the ad, it is really pretty in person.These come with a binky tether and a small cloth bag.The only downside is that there is no gusset around the legs. As all newborns have very runny BM's, these may not keep all the liquid inside.If it were only urine, they should be perfectly fine. For runny poops (we're talking about diapers here, folks, please don't be offended) these will allow some to come out the legholes and up the back.For all us moms out there who have ever picked up a baby from a nap and found that they've managed to squirt poop all the way up their back, these will allow that to happen, too.There isn't room inside the diaper to allow an additional cloth liner.or pad.They are absorbent and will keep the urine from getting out, but babies bottoms are more creative. They'll send that stuff everywhere.If your baby has firmer, more solid BM's then these will be fine. They wash easily and dry well in the dryer. The snaps are high quality and secure. The fit is perfect for the small baby.Depending on your child, these may work perfectly. I would just advise that you use a cloth diaper liner, folded in at the edges to catch any runaway runnies.

These diapers are cute. However, they take a very long time to dry AND they leak pretty bad
