The old saying is true you get what you pay for. I’ve purchased orchid bark in a lot of store but so far I must say I definitely impressed with quality and quantity of what I got from here. There was no degree or unusable products in the mix it was just good quality orchid bark. I really appreciate finally getting what I paid for and the bag being the right weight. I would have enclosed phots but I used all on bark in plants already maybe next time because there will definthl be a next time. I won’t be wasting my time or +my money!

I looked at all the planting bark on Amazon, and this one had way more than other bags. The secret, I found out, is that they vacuume-packed it! Making it easy to deliver, but you will want to have some extra bags ready when you use some!Orchids like a tight pot, and they won't bloom (i found out) unless they are planted in this bark, no soil. I ran out of bark when i repotted my older orchid plant and had to use some regular soil around the edges of the pot. It's been months now, and no new blooms. So I'm hoping I can make it happy again! Also I have a younger plant that jjust started dropping it's flowers; I'll want to repot that one in a slightly-larger pot when it's dormant.I'll have plenty of "soil" for them both now, for quite a while-at the same price as the bag sold at HD!

If you are planning to use this for orchids it is slightly smaller pieces than I like, but all about the same size so it does compact too much. Seems clean and good quality.

This ship well. It means the bark was inside the bag and not outside the bag. Looks great with my orchids. Clean, no bugs. It the perfect size bag for me since I only have 2 orchids right now. would recommend

If you’re looking for large chunky pieces of bark, keep looking. The pieces are a lot smaller than what is pictured, but you do get a decent amount of it. I am just disappointed in the size of the pieces. Picture with a measuring spoon so you don’t make the same mistake I did.

Very well packaged. Great for using in my soil that I make for my succulents and cactus. I did think it was a little pricey but I'm cheap so haha. Remember to be kind it's free people
