This kit is pretty freaking amazing it has made some improvements even, what I would say is be careful with the hardware that's all , don't over tighten and strip it out , I took my time used the good instructions and it came out flawlessly....and they look amazing .......

Good quality and fit and finish is good. Except for two small things. The shift lever has a little play in it. It wiggles just a little bit but not enough to matter. And the shift linkage is cheap looking. It's sturdy but it looks cheap.But for less than half the price of Harley forward controls, it's nothing. I wouldn't even think twice about buying this kit. Definitely not even considering the Harley kit at all. All screw holes lined up perfectly. The ardware was good quality too. I still used the factory hardware where I could just cause of Paranoia but the hardware is good quality.

I'm always skeptical from the cheaper Chinese manufactured Harley parts that you find on amazon. For the most part, "they'll work" but you can tell that the quality control is not the same. In this case, I feel that the product is pretty darn good. To begin with, it was well packaged in foam to ensure that nothing was scratched. Second, it included good instructions to install the controls. Lastly, parts seem to be good quality without over paint, casting marks, or visible defects.Now, full disclosure. The shifter arm and a couple other parts are cast aluminum, as opposed to steel. Harley uses steel... Chinese manufacturers do not. I'm sure they'll hold up fine, but don't fool yourself that you're buying an equal product. Second, the threads on the shifter arm was painted over, so it took a tap to clean the treads so that the toe peg could be screwed in. If you're an average guy that works on your bikes, it probably wouldn't be a concern, but I'm writing a review, so I need to point it out.Overall, I would buy again. Time will tell if I should have bought OEM, but I'm happy so far. (Seriously impressed with packaging, though... you just don't see attention to detail like that on this site often).

Easy installatuon and very solid mounting for my 2022 FXST Spftail Standard. Great foot placement to stretch my legs out. Very comfortable on long rides. Highly recommend!

Removed previously installed forward controls kit that was damaging boot/shoes and left side was 2.5 inches too short. That other one on here. Installed this one and looks like factory upgrade forward controls and are absolutely perfect positioning and farther forward than others and good quality finish.

I actually owned and installed the chrome version from Harley on my old bike, this is a direct clone but in black. Of course it is much lighter because it is aluminum instead of steel, there are pros and cons for both types of materials obviously. I loved the Harley brand forward controls in chrome, so much so that I was going to powder coat them black for install on my new bike, I’m glad I found these first. These do one thing better than the Harley brand, the brake pedal has the rubber pad pre installed, that was very difficult to do with the chrome set from Harley. I did take one star off because the bolts stripped out on me, they are still good and tight and I’m sure I won’t have an issue but I wasn’t able to hit the torque specs because of this. I would use the original bolts whenever possible, I don’t think I’ll ever be able to get these off because they are stripped. However I absolutely love the forward controls, better braking power, more comfortable, and shifts nicely. I felt unsafe using the OEM mid controls because braking is so awful.

Every part of this kit fit just right on my Harley Davidson Street Bob. No hassle, no rethreading. Clear instructions.

It works and looks great but the only issue I have is that the left peg sags and need to figure how I can fix that
