Love this thing!
I placed this in the middle of my lava lamp collection. It’s super fun and I enjoy looking at it. The volcano is somewhat frantic. It’s better to watch the lava lamps if your trying to wind down and relax, not this. But I love it anyway. It super fun!! The only thing I can say bad about it is the noise. It’s somewhat surprisingly loud and I’m not sure why. But I’m enjoying it none the less. Get one for yourself!! 😀👍

No lava for you. No.
Sadly, we had one of these before and it worked 24/7 (it was in a bar) for over a year before the pump (that blows the little balls up through the volcano's cone) gave out. So we ordered another and excitedly awaited its arrival -- only to find that it NEVER WORKED STRAIGHT OUT OF THE BOX. Sad face. Yes, we did all the manufacturer's suggestions (prime it, charge it, blah blah blah). Nothing. The light worked, but there was no spewing lava action. Sad face. We returned it.

Fun to watch but has to be plugged in to work, batteries are too weak.

Lid hasn't fallen off when knocked over!
It seems to need a replenishment of dish soap every so often. The USB plug in wasn't working so I had to use batteries. I was concerned that the lid would fall off if it was knocked over since it doesn't fasten at all, but surprisingly, it has been knocked over a couple times and the lid hasn't fallen off! I'm amazed!

Lava lamp
Bought this for my grandson for Christmas, ever since we set it up it has never produced the lava effect of the rotation of little red balls going up through the center of the volcano 🌋. They just get clogged around the bottom of volcano. Very disappointed in this item. The one star is for the fast shipping.

Remember the dish soap (detergent)
The media could not be loaded. My son was a excited to use this lamp so I hastily filled it with water and poured in the little balls… and it didn’t work. I looked for the instructions and found them on the side of the box. It said to add two drops of detergent (I used dish soap) and swirled it to mix. Now it works great as shown in the video/pics.The lid is not leak-proof and water will drip if it is turned sideways. It also feels fragile… if knocked over this could make a mess. I would avoid having it around kids who cannot keep their hands off or clumsy adults.
