Don't waste your money
I bought 2 of these to use when travelling, total waste of time. Followed instructions exactly and described only to find the water in cup had not changed colour. Pressed plunger and it changed colour but no taste!Filter sections are to narrow for flavour to filter out. No filter section on bottom either. To much plastic not enough filter.I thought this would be fantastic as it had a plunger but that's not the case.I eneded up buying another brand and it's amazing, no plunger though and slightly longer in style.

and like what other people have said
I bought this so I had a small coffee press for home, work and the odd camping trip. I've used it several times, and like what other people have said, it doesn't make the strongest of coffee, however I find it satisfactory. It's easy to clean, easy to use and does what it says on the box.

works ok but it needs a bigger space for the coffee for people who like it stonger!

Nice idea but they don't really work. :(
I bought 2 of these to make small one cup coffee brews. They're rubbish, even after 10 minutes sitting in a cup of water the coffee is weak and insipid. Furthermore, the plunger doesn't fully compress the grains thus compounding the problem.

Excellent
I purchased 2 of these I travel a lot and wanted a good coffee in the morning it is big enough it take maybe 30 secs to let the hot water brew then simply press. As for it's not big enough I disagree.

Flimsy, would not buy again.
Bought two of these as gifts. My husband opened his first and managed to break it within a day. Thinking it was him being clumsy, I gave him the other one which had been intended for someone else. This also broke within a day.I would not buy this again, they promised great things but in reality were flimsy.

Well built, enough for one medium cup of coffee ...
Well built, enough for one medium cup of coffee. One month making four cups per day at work and never failed (not rough treatment screwing both parts or when pressing it). I usually boil one cup of water in he microwave, and then put the Jokari press inside pressing it one time to make hot water come inside and damp all the coffee grain, then wait 3 minutes and press it again (gently) two or three more times.

total waste of $5
This was a total bust. I love french press coffee. I've been making it in a conventional press for years. This did not work. I tried it repeatedly. I tried different amounts of coffee and longer steeping times. I tried to make sure all the grounds got wet. I tried plunging once or plunging multiple times. It just doesn't work. My only consolation is that it was so cheep, so I didn't waste too much money on it. If you love french press coffee (or any coffee really, because even classic Americana drip coffee is better than this), don't buy it.

Great for loose tea
I use this mostly for tea. I makes a lovely cup of tea and cleanup is easy. I have a hard time making a strong cup of coffee with this, it comes out rather weak. Any hints would be appreciated.

I hate hotel coffee and thought this would pack easily
I purchased this product to use when traveling. I hate hotel coffee and thought this would pack easily. That it does. It is also good to use when camping. It is convenient to use since all you need is boiling water, a cup and ground coffee. I like my coffee really strong so my only disappointment is that it comes out tasting weaker than I would like. I am going to experiment with using darker brews.
