Just a Joy Picnic Blanket - Extra Large - Pure Cotton with Waterproof Backing - Red Polka Dot- in Compact Carry Bag

This is a great product, very big, a lovely dark red colour that hides stains, very compact when folded in it's well-made bag and it machine-washes easily. This is the second one I have bought. I used the first one last summer for picnics and the beach as it's lighter than towels and shakes off more easily - it also kept us dry when sitting on damp sand. We even use it for winter 'indoor picnics' sometimes! A very good investment.

This is NOT extra large. And although the pattern is pretty and it is lined, it is very thin and so not comfy to sit on!

This is a really good-sized rug, but I sent it back because (a) I was sent the heart design when I had ordered the spotty one, (b) it's definitely more pink than red, and (c) for an expensive rug, it could do with a bit more padding. Overall, I was disappointed in it...

We have used our XL picnic blanket a few times now since taking delivery of it just a few weeks ago, thanks to this fab and very unexpected summer we have had this year! Each time we take our blanket out we receive compliments and comments from friends, family and strangers too. It's very stylish and the perfect size for a family picnic. oh, it comes in its own bag... Genius! Into which it packs very well, I plan on packing my blanket when we go on holiday later on this year too. We are a family of 5, in case you are wondering?
