Leather? No. TCP and old Morris Minors.
I've been looking for something that will genuinely make my car smell of leather. That wonderful mellow smell of a new briefcase or of your rich friend's new Bentley. It's hilarious that some reviewers of this product seem to think it does smell like that. Trust me this is not a bit like leather. I think another review said it smells of tcp and that is spot on! As for an old car smell, well i do agree actually. If you've ever sat in something like an old Morris minor that has been in a garage for 40 years you'll recognise the smell. Sort of musty and old vinyl. It's not horrible but it's a long way from the smell of a new leather wallet. To be fair I have only used it on one seat so I can't day how good it is at moisturizing etc - it may be brilliant but don't buy it for its smell...

The smell is all you need
I use this for the fabulous leather smell it has. Rub it on, buff it off, done. Only snag and why it loses a star is that the stuff is very thick and can be hard to get out of the bottle, especially after a few years as it thickens.

Gives a clean, simple finish...
Love this leather conditioner. I have used it for years now and I like the smell and the fact that it really does seem to ‘feed’ the leather. I also use it on the plastics too. Gives a nice clean, full shine to plastic. Great stuff..

Great product, works fantastic and restores worn or partly dried leathers to near original glory!
I've used this conditioner on a pair of light-tan leather desert boots (not suede!) that was badly dried from wearing in snow and gritted roads. While it did slightly darken the leather (apply lightly to avoid this), it also restored the leather to a smooth and nourished complexion.I also used the conditioner on one of my favorite medium-tan bags that suffered slight water damage. This time it didn't darken the leather to any problematic degree and it gave the leather a great finish and really brought out the original luster. My only qualms are:• Be careful not to over-saturate the leather (especially light coloured leathers). Apply the conditioner lightly and in layers to reduce this. Darker leathers should see very little issues with colour changes if applied correctly.• The conditioner really brings out the smell of leather (in a good way), I advise you let leather air out for a few hours/days, depending on how much you do/don't like the smell of leather and how generously you applied the conditioner. The smell is many an issue for leathers worn on the upper body/closer to the nose, such as jackets.

Rehydrated leather suite like new
Easy to apply to my dehydrated leather furniture. The suite is 10 year old distressed tan leather. Gliptone fed and nourished the hide leaving it soft and supple with a subtle leather scent. I’ve just ordered my second bottle. Worth every penny!

This stuff is magic - goes on car seats, ...
This stuff is magic - goes on car seats, leather sofas, jackets and gives such a nostalgic aroma; just missing the smell of petrol and moldy carpets ;-). I've let a friend borrow my bottle, and never got it back. So there you go.
