So glad I found this. I recently started making homemade yogurt. I use a gallon of milk a week. Turns into about half gallon greek yogurt and half gallon whey. I needed this durable item to strain it. Another yogurt strainer broke after 4 months. It is big enough I could fit the full batch in all at once. No more babying it all day to get it done so it saves me precious time. It sits perfectly on my good 5 quart dutch oven pan. Very good value for money. Thankful. Yay!

Worked perfectly to strain wax and debris from my honey
This worked about as well as you would expect. It does a good job of straining and separating the wax from the honey and fit right over top of my 5 gallon bucket. The flow rate that it filtered things was as expected

Works to oven render wax
I welded a frame to support the basket over a stainless steel steam table tray with a half inch of water in it. Lined the basket with tee shirt fabric and heated in the oven at about 215 °F for several hours then allow to cool. Did not use the upper basket.I run too many hives to use this for honey. Instead I have fabric filters that line a 5 gallon sieve that drains into a 5 gallon honey pail.

Saw this thing in a YouTube video...
Never heard of a Honey Strainer until I saw this thing being used to strain the seeds out of blackberries in a YouTube video! WOW!! This thing is the best thing for straining fruits/veggies for canning/freeze drying we have ever added to our kitchen!! It's durable, has the adjustable rack so it fits over just about any size large pot or bowl and is very stable. The large straining surface area and the fact that it is 2-stage means you can process a lot of product with one pass... not clean up is a bit of a chore, but well worth it! I'd give it 10 stars if I could!

A must have for your honey extraction, using crush and strain method
