I replaced my "Portholic" Wii2HDMI adapter with this. It had started to flicker (black screen for 1-3 seconds)This adapter has a darker image output than the "Portholic" but doesn't flicker. Trade-off I suppose.Whomever wrote that it doesn't support 16:9 they probably have their console set to 4:3This thing works great.

This is the next best thing to an up-scaler. I have tried two other brands and this one comes in lead for me. Clear crisp picture for what it is, and I don't notice any delay.The other two I tried sell under the titles "Wii to HDMI Adapter Cable [1080P/720P] Picture Quality Upscaler Resolution Enhancer " and "GANA Wii to HDMI Converter Adapter with Hdmi Cable Connect Wii Console to HDMI "; the first being horrible, the second nearly as good as this one, but not quite.

Works easy, jut plug it in and go. And they stand behind their product! I've bought three (for friends and I) and found out after return period that one was defective (cut out and in). I contacted them and they arranged for a replacement, and even covered the return shipping. Great Customer Service!

Quick and easy set up. Works great.

I tried different adapters and had to return each one because they would all work at first, then black out after a several minutes of use. However, this one worked correctly without blacking out. I was finally able to complete Guilty Party on the Wii. Every other adapter I tried would stop working before I could finish the game. Thanks to this adapter, I was able to finish it. I'm so happy that I don't have to keep returning adapters anymore, it was getting very bothersome.

This is the one you want. All the other wii2hdmi type solutions I’ve tried are actual garbage in comparison. This one outputs 480p correctly in widescreen and standard. It doesn’t even require an external power source. Works with both Wii and WiiU(idk why you wouldn’t just use the built in but it works lol).

I have tried other adapters but this one really improves the clarity of the Wii games on my larger 4K TV. After using this product for a while the only issue I have is the adapter does get warm like some of Kaico's other products.
