Wow
What a superb light. Arrived quicker than I expected after reading other reviews about 3-4 weeks delivery. No instructions but reall straight forward. Easy to charge, and can use standard batteries in an adaptor block, also came with a spare rechargeable battery. The beam is excellent, and I like the fact it can be zoomed in or out. I use it for running and it is not too heavy. Trying to angle the beam is a little flimsy/loose - I have to readjust it now and again when I am running, but it's easy to do and I don't have to stop. Power appears to last for a long time - but only used it a couple of times. Well worth the money.

So bad it is almost laughable
Where do I start?1. The mains charger lasted for about 10 minutes, enough to get 'some' charge into the battery.2. The battery lasted about 10 minutes before it faded away so I was left with a dead battery and no charger because the separate battery charger broke on the first attempt to use it. It comes with a 2 pin shaver-type setup which means you have to use an adapter. On the first attempt, one of the legs snapped off.3. After buying a separate charger and some spare batteries, I managed to get it working and it really is a beast. Incredibly bright and adjustable BUT after 1 outing of about 3 hours, it stopped working. All it would do is flash SOS or off. The power on/off button didn't work and anytime you popped the battery out to stop it flashing it would just start up again as soon as you put the battery back in.I took it to work and stripped it completely. Boy is it shoddy quality inside, dry joints, trapped wires, a battery compartment that is so loose I needed a 5p piece jammed in with the battery to make a proper connection. I resoldered all the joints including the ones on the microchip but to no avail. I then had to strip all the wires out and rewire it completely and now, finally it works. Albeit that it is held together with gaffer tape (actually trebles the woeful waterproofing by taping it up!)So overall, a great idea, very poorly executed. Because I am reasonably electronically minded, I have a half decent, very powerful torch but unless you have the patience of a saint, I would avoid this torch and all other similar to it.

Excellent value Head Lamp
It took a couple of weeks delivery for the Head lamp to arrive from Hong Kong. On opening the packaging I discovered no written instruction or information. Hence; 4 star rating rather than 5. Having said that, it is fairly intuitive with regard to getting it up-an-running. I was surprised & delighted to receive 2 rechargeable 18650 3.7 volt Li-ion batteries. I only expected one. There is also a charging unit and a plug adapter. It took about 5 hours of charging such that the lamp illuminated (remember; no instructions, or safety information)In operation, the light is very bright and has a zoom, spot-lamp function (I discovered that Cree leds are much brighter than standard leds). The battery box; located on the strap behind your head, emits a red glow when the lamp is on; great news, if you are a cyclist or road-runner.Overall; excellent value for money at a little over £12.

Great product great customer service
I ordered 2 of these in early december and they didn't arrive by post when expected. I contacted the supplier and was asked if I would give it a few more days. A few days later I still had not received them and contacted the supplier again. At this point I was immediately given the choice of a refund or re-shipment ( no ifs or buts). I requested a re-shipment but the originals arrived the following day (delayed in Christmas post I assume). The lights work well, have powerful, high quality light and with the charger and spare battery included are great value for money.

NOT UK PLUG - Power charger over heated on first use
The head torch itself is great, however the charging unit overheated and nearly melting lets it down. WARNING: US type plus with one of those very cheep adapters which does not allow the charge to fit correctly. Be carefully when charging of just use the enclosed AAA adapter

Great value for money
Ordering something from Hong Kong can be daunting as you are never sure what will you get and when will you get it. This Head torch took 13 days to arrive (ordered on 19/12) despite Bank Holidays and Christmas mail delay. Very impressive. Although no instructions, it is very simple to use, charger is great and having two batteries is perfect. The torch does exactly what it is expected, it is bright and easily adjustable. The unexpected is how comfortable it is to wear. I expected something bulky and heavy, instead it is relatively light and very stable. Perfect.

2 Watt and not a 5 watt torch as advertised.
Whilst this is a fairly bright, it is not a 5 watt torch.I spent 20 years as an electronics technician and so I decided to test this torch, rather than taking the sellers word for it.The battery supplied is a 3.7 volt lithium cell, so I used a bench power supply to ensure that the torch was getting 3.7 volts at the connectors. I then measured the current which was a maximum of only 0.53A (to be a 5 watt torch it would need to be 1.35 amps)CONCLUSION. even with a fully charged battery the most power this torch will consume is 1.96 watts and not the 5 watts as advertised, only 40% of the promised power.
